An American warship and multiple commercial ships came under attack Sunday in the Red Sea, the Pentagon said, potentially marking a major escalation in a series of maritime attacks in the Mideast linked to the Israel-Hamas war.
“We’re aware of reports regarding attacks on the USS Carney and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and will provide information as it becomes available,” the Pentagon said.
The British military earlier said there had been a suspected drone attack and explosions in the Red Sea, without elaborating.

According to U.S. Defense Officials, the USS Carney (DDG-64) an Arleigh Burke-Class Guided-Missile Destroyer has reportedly also been Attacked today in the Red Sea by Anti-Ship Missiles and Drones launched by the Houthi Terrorist Group in Western Yemen; the Carney was previously involved in the Interception of 4 Land-Attack Cruise Missiles and 15 Drones launched by the Houthis towards Southern Israel on October 19th.

Erdogan, Qatar's Emir Al Thani and Syrian Pres. Assad were there. Most who have stated prior this war could lead to further Middle Eastern involvement......
...Soooo here we are with our ships being attacked in the Red Sea...after numerous attacks throughout Syria , Iraq on our bases....and Hezbollah further attacking Israels Northern Border.....Sounds an looks like they intend to escalate this war - and are.
