I’ve never had much luck with Black Friday or Cyber Monday or any of those. Surprisingly, I got very good deals on all my Christmas presents over the weekend, and I’m almost done now.

It still doesn’t outcompete a single outting at a Zimbabwean grocery store in 2008. The feds lie with numbers.

There’s a record number of shoppers because the country is flooded with illegal immigrants
There’s a record sales volume cause everything is priced so high

The bookstore I work at had a good Black Friday but missed goal Saturday Sunday and Monday. 95% of sales were with credit cards.

sales records up??....my guess the the news is still lying to us about how bad things are.. My spending is down this year because Im not doing great otoh, Im in the 10 percentile of people who think before they spend and dont use a credit card to buy something.
people are mostly stupid. and come February/march all that crap will be on craigslist for 1/2 of what they paid. Ill get a new phone 60% off.

Notice they talk about the record NUMBER of shoppers but no where do they talk about how much those shoppers spent, This looks like the Hill “polishing the turd.”
