President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Friday said that Ukraine needed to secure three key "victories" abroad, including the approval of major aid packages from the U.S. Congress and the European Union, and a formal start of accession talks to join the EU.
Zelenskiy also announced the latest dismissals in the military, four deputy commanders in the national guard, but gave no reasons for their removal. The president and other officials have vowed to make the military's operations more efficient and responsive to the needs of servicemen.
Twenty months into Russia's full-scale invasion, fatigue has crept into the West's relations with Kyiv, which heavily relies on its allies for military, economic and humanitarian aid to battle on against the Kremlin's troops.
"We need three victories. The first one is the victory with U.S. Congress.

Here comes the Mother of all false flags
“Twenty months” ??
It’s been 21 months since Putin invaded
If this reporter can’t even get that simple fact right, it makes you wonder how accurate the rest of the article is!

"The conversations have included very broad outlines of what Ukraine might need to give up to reach a deal, the officials said. Some of the talks, which officials described as delicate, took place last month during a meeting of representatives from more than 50 nations supporting Ukraine, including NATO members, known as the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, the officials said. The discussions are an acknowledgment of the dynamics militarily on the ground in Ukraine and politically in the U.S. and Europe, officials said."

Legally and militarily, Russia still considers their invasion a "special military operation" instead of a declaration of war.
So it actually HASN'T been "full-scale", if you can believe it.
Just make sure Biden gets his cut.
Meanwhile, no matter what the territorial settlement, the nation of Ukraine has been destroyed, the population having fled.
Some Freepers who have opted for a third option, "not my war" and the like are disparaged as "putinistas" and the like, because the moment more than the limited two options are in play, then Realpolitick comes into play.
My view about stances:
1) Pro-Z and pro-Ukraine.
2) Anti-Z and pro-Ukraine.
3) Pro-P and pro Russia.
4) Anti-P and pro Russia.
5) Pro neither.
6) Anti neither in the sense of "not my county, not my flag, not my war" as one has often commented.
7) A tragedy, but the greater tragedy in the moment in America's rapidly rising national debt, which should inform ALL geopolitical decisions and stances. This is my view.
Since last Thanksgiving -- just a year's time -- it has been reported that the national debt has risen by $2.5 trillion. This is fiscal insanity.
But among the insanity of this era, one Freeper actually posted that he would rather see a nuclear WWIII than Putin win over Zelensky, in whatever manner that might take. So reason has "left the building." And actual conservatism is under attack, because there is "only the narrative." Which changes.
Germany was “destroyed” at the end of WWII, yet they managed to rebuild
Ukraine will too
“Ukraine” will “rebuild” with refugees from somewhere else.

I think you altered speedy’s post some, do you have the link?

There is more, much more.
1) The young Ukie male population has been decimated. The average age of a Ukie soldier is 43 years old- fighting Russia’s unlimited amounts of 20 year olds.
2) Those that fled will not be returning.
3) War lasts only till the Western welfare runs out.
4) Russia’s huge manufacturing base and unlimited materials insures Russia can carry on for years.
5) As Russia’s Congress has not declared war yet, nor fully mobilized , they have a huge ( 1.5 million) standing Army to handle any NATO/ EU missteps/ aggression.
6) The cost to rebuild Ukraine is now estimated to be one trillion dollars- rebuilding will bankrupt any EU nations taking on the task.
7) Ukraine does not have the man power to rebuild Ukraine in anytime less than decades.
8) Much much more involved, all factors point to a future as a rump nation.
hmmm, maybe the fact that Russia STILL can’t defeat Ukraine suggests you’re exaggerating?
Zelenskiy says he needs just ‘three things’ to achieve victory:
1. a blank check from US taxpayers.
2. a US govt Visa card for his wife’s Paris shopping trip.
3. a new pair of dancing shoes.
Theyve lost a generation of young men. Despite what the media will puke up, Ukraine is wrecked and even Blackrock cannot stop it.
Where is the daily media running total of Ukrainian dead, or the accounting of the hundred billion wasted tax dollars? No number of Ukraine dead is too many, apparently.
Germans are an industrious, honest and hardworking, high-IQ people. Ukes... not so much.
hmmm, maybe the fact that Russia STILL can’t defeat Ukraine suggests you’re exaggerating?

You bought into senile Joe’s narrative.
Stated by Vlad and confirmed by many, makes sense to me.
1) Vlad has kept his SMO as a SMO. He has committed about 20-25 percent of his military to the Ukrainian theatre. The other 75 percent of his military is and has been guarding his borders should NATO and the West try to do something really stupid like attack Russia.
2) Vlad currently has a one million man Army, by Duma decree ( Russian Congress) his military is being increased in increments, up to 1.5 million by 2025.
3) Be thankful Vlad and his Congress have not declared war and mobilized.
4) Vlad has stated as of early 2023, he has manufactured and stockpiled enough arms and ammunition to last 30 months for a high intensity war.
5) Russia’s manufacturing base has mobilized, some interesting facts: they are now producing 5,000 drones of various makes ( yes, even Iran’s design) a month. His artillery and artillery ammunition is being manufactured and shipped by rail at an astonishing rate. Time from manufacturing to delivery ( only 600 KM) on the front by rail, is an astounding month!
6) Vlad has ALL the necessary metals, propellants and explosives and produces artillery shells at a fraction of what the West can.
Make no mistake, at the very least, Vlad keeps the Crimea and Russian provinces when the Ukies are depleted of western arms, ammo, and manpower.

What a strange question. 1) I did not name other than "one Freeper." 2) You identified from that lack of specificity "speedy's post." 3) In the same single question, you assert "speedy’s post" was "altered." 4) You ask me for the link.
Have a nice day.
