The matter has been turned over to the Niagara Falls Police Department as a traffic investigation
NEW YORK, November 23./TASS/. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation said it has completed the probe into the car blast at the Rainbow Bridge connecting the United States and Canada at Niagara Falls and referred the case to the local police as a traffic accident...
The accident occurred on Wednesday when a car rammed the checkpoint on the US side of the Rainbow Bridge. According to witnesses, the car was running at a speed of more than 160 km/h. As a result, the car caught fire. There were two people inside, both died. A border officer who happened to be nearby suffered minor injuries. According to local media, it was a stolen car...

Hell on Rainbow Bridge.
I could have put that on my post as well.
High speed and full fuel tanks tend to burn a lot. The video I saw of the fire (no explosion seen in the video, but that is not to say there wasn't one) showed a fire that looked like a ruptured fuel tank and a fuel fire engulfing the vehicle. Reminded me of early NASCAR wrecks/fires before a lot of the safety improvements.
If it was a factory machine, there'd be a big, red, OSHA-mandated Emergency Stop button on the dash, but there's no rule that computerized cars have to have one. My friend's Mercedes doesn't have a key you can turn.
Too late! The story broke this morning, een with a secod car with a kaboom switch box.
for some reason i’m reminded that Epstein didn’t kill himself, either.
Babylon Bee strikes again.
The fact that he swerved around a car in front of him...says he had control...but the acceleration was “stuck”.???..don’t know the mechanics/controls for the car.
Really...they could release the name of the parties killed. Are we going to recognize their names?
The car was stolen?
Earlier this year someone was arrested driving a stolen car in the same place. The driver supposedly made a wrong turn onto the bridge.

The FIB has not revealed the names of the dead, nor how the driver did an 'Evel Knievel', jumping hundreds of feet and then exploding upon crashing. They've left that to the NFPD to figure out.
We believe the Feebers, right?
Not.
Yeah right. Sure thing
Ahhhh. The plot thickens. The perps will not be discussed and this will immediately disappear from the media.
Hopefully they won't be pressured, and will release the true facts. It's interesting how the FBI swooped right in for what they describe as a car accident. I'm sure it's not the first one at that border crossing, or on that bridge. How many other fatal and fiery car crashes are caused by high speed, and the FBI isn't anywhere around? Did the FBI investigate when actor Paul Walker and his friend were killed in a high speed crash that caused the car to catch fire? What about Anne Heche's fiery crash that took her life?
The Bentley they were driving does come in a hybrid version. Could that explain the furiously of the explosion?
As an American, I’ve learned to trust our state media about as much as the poor Soviet citizens trusted their state media.
A legend is born
True that on the factory floor. I worked with automation and CNC equipment my whole life. An E stop on the control panel, on the tool changer, by the electrical panels, and at the operator station. On a transfer line one every six feet so wherever you stood near the line you cut hit the estop in case someone unscrewed the safety cages and crawled onto the machine. I have the keyless system on my Ford explorer, and the media off button and the car off button use the same color scheme and basic shape. I turn the radio off a lot when meaning to shut off the engine. OSHA would be all over that.
