Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson met with several U.S. Senators in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to discuss his efforts to help with military recruitment.
The meeting featured Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL), Jon Tester (D-MT), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Susan Collins (R-ME), Todd Young (R-IN), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL). Johnson's business partner, XFL CEO Dany Garcia, was also present.
Tester, who arranged the sit-down, according to NBC News, said Johnson is "going to advocate for people to join the military over a period of time."
“He’s got an incredible following, maybe the biggest," Tester added.
“I'm really pleased that he's helping with military recruitment,” Sen. Collins said. “I think he is a powerful influencer."
Collins also admitted that she "got as many pictures with him as I possibly could.”

Pretty much every male in my family has served in the US military and we’ve served in every war America has ever fought, the Revolution to GWOT. I’d NEVER let my kids serve today.
America’s front line combat units are suffering from a lack of “diversity”.
Women, gays, trannies, LGBT, racial minorities of all sorts need to step up.
Volunteer for the Globohomo American Empire (the GAE) and die overseas for their imperialist agenda !
Maybe they can offer free cases of Bud Light to help with recruitment.

If you’re referring to stupid as not making the best decision for each individual by using coercion instead of facts, you are correct. Johnson was never in the military but has been very supportive of them after he became known in the entertainment business. But trying to pass off his tough guy appearance and act for his business is not being up front with the youth recruits. And he should know better than to allow the feds to do this to him by misrepresenting who he is. They did the same thing with John Wayne, and that was during a war.
