Nikki Haley: Let CEOs Import Workers and Graduates They ‘Need’
Breitbart ^ | 11/11/2023 | Neil Munro

Posted on 11/11/2023 6:07:27 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

American CEOs should be allowed to import all the foreign workers they say they “need,” Nikki Haley told supporters at a New Hampshire campaign stop.

“So for too long, Republican and Democrat presidents dealt with immigration based on a [annual] quota,” she told the roomful of supporters:

Bannon said she's "as ambitious as Lucifer".

On the positive side though, there are those who say she's fun to party with.

At one time, an American politician would have been demanding education and training programs for Americans to take these jobs

But in my view, Haley has shown over and over that she is not interested in America as it currently is, or was. She seems set on building a country for someone or something else.

Verdict: Globalist

Very much. Globalist & warmonger.

She has a BS degree in accounting. Her only real job experience before playing politics was accountant for her family’s small business. Politics got her on the board with Boeing, etc. She’s an empty shell with talking points.

As much as one has to pay for labor, and as difficult as it can be to fire a layabout or incompetent employee, I can understand employers not wanting to hire a barely literate woketard who is more concerned about his pronouns than the job at hand. I don’t think this is about “cheap labor” anymore.

Yours is the best post on this thread. I’m no fan of Nikki Haley and I don’t trust her motivations here, but most Freepers miss the main point entirely. Anyone who has been in a position to hire college graduates will look at this from a completely different perspective than a political one. A modern, affluent nation cannot build and maintain a completely dysfunctional education system and then expect to stay modern and affluent for long without importing people with the brains and the attitude needed to keep the lights on.

In my experience, the best professionals I ever hired tended to fit into three groups:

1. Americans from working class families who had strong family support for education and a solid work ethic.
2. Immigrants from former Communist countries in Eastern Europe (for their STEM skills and education).
3. Immigrants from former British colonies who were not always the top STEM candidates but who were often far superior to their American counterparts in writing and speaking in English.

As someone who avoided hiring job candidates with H1B visas and who did my best to run an “America First” business operation, it was extremely discouraging to see American entry-level STEM professionals who seemed to have fifth-grade reading and writing skills, and brought all kinds of stunted personality traits to the work place.

We already take in 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants annually. And our labor participation rate is 62%. We have a surplus of labor.

Her comment shows her lack of self control & puerile intellect I am not a VR fan but his comments are often penetrating and exposing rot as in this case.

Kind of like the lazy boyz in Saudi who hire Filipinos to do all the work they need. You can tell by their Hairdos that “americans” now envision themselves as Kings, Queens, Princesses, Princes, Shieks and Shiekettes. Trump is right. America ISN’T GREAT ANYMORE. It’s the remnants of what was once the greatest country known to man.

Next thing you know, she is going to say that American workers will be fully employed and earning huuuge salaries with all those nano technology jobs. (Remember George W.? In case people forgot).

I had posted the other day that if George Bush (both of them) and Bob Dole ran in this election, that would be Nikki Haley. This lines are so legacy republican campaign messages.

These numbskulls are so out of touch with voters, I have to wonder if they are morons or they just don't care. Nikki is probably hoping that Trump does not get to run, then she can be the default appointed "nominee", and like Romney said, who are republican voters going to vote for anyway in that situation?!

Mike Pence was really telling the truth when he said that he does not care what the American voters concerns are. They don't care if our jobs are exported out, while we fund them with our tax money. They don't care if we are swamped with illegals. These stinkers don't care what happens to us.

Legal immigration - OK.

Can’t agree with that statement without more information. That simplistic undefined statement was the heart of the deceptive “comprehensive immigration reform” that was constantly pushed by the likes of Bush, McCain, and Graham. Unfortunately, even Trump has been fooled by it as evidenced by his frequent refrain that we want immigrants, we just want them to come in legally.

Only saying that and nothing more, though, implies that the current tsunami of third world refuse is fine to continue coming here, just so long as they do the proper paperwork first. That’s dangerous nonsense. The problem isn’t clerical processes, it’s the numbers and quality and loyalty of those flooding in. The deceitful dems constantly try to hoodwink people on this issue by referring to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, making sure every time to refer to America as “a nation of immigrants”, when the illegal invasion they’re referring to has no relation to those things. But the turn of the century wave of immigration that flowed through Ellis Island was metered and controlled by the U.S. government. And those seeking to immigrate were chosen according to their origin, potential to contribute positively to society, and their health. Not all were selected, and we certainly didn’t have the ridiculous situation we have now in which the invaders themselves have total authority to decide who and how many will come here.

The word “immigration” doesn’t mean an uncontrolled invasion, and it certainly doesn’t mean that the invader gets to control the decision to “immigrate.” ACTUAL immigration is a process controlled by the host country in which that country gets to decide who will come in and who won’t, based upon sensible standards. And the difference between illegal immigration and legal immigration is not just the word “legal.” Those who push that nonsense are just trying to fool the public into allowing the same uncontrolled invasion to continue, just with a facade of being “legal.”

Finally, the idea that we must continue to allow unfettered immigration because we are “a nation of immigrants” is a dangerous lie. The great wave of immigrants in the late 1800s and early 1900s was an anomaly in American history, driven by industrialization. And of course those immigrants came mostly from compatible cultures in Europe. But what most people don’t realize is that after that wave subsided the U.S. almost entirely stopped all immigration for about 40 years. That was done to give the previous immigrants time to assimilate as Americans before allowing any more to come in. Rational, common-sense, and something you would obviously want to do. And things stayed pretty much that way until Ted Kennedy came along and opened the floodgates to the third world, initiating the preference for deadbeats from s-hole countries that we see today.

Japan taxes employers a premium for imported workers. They say it would be cheaper to hire nationals for that reason
