Trump says he’d consider Tucker Carlson as running mate

Former President Trump says he’d consider Tucker Carlson as a potential running mate in 2024.

“I like Tucker a lot; I guess I would,” Trump said during an appearance on “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” this week. “I think I’d say I would, because he’s got great common sense.”

“You know, when they say that you guys are conservative, or I’m conservative — it’s not that we’re conservative, we have common sense. We want to have safe borders. We want to have a wall, because walls work,” he said.

I like it.

Tucker has a good mind, and he’s NOT A POLITICIAN!

start a Ministry of Common Sense, and put Tucker in charge of it. Zero dollar budget, but all proceeds from cost savings and bureaucracy reductions go into an account that will be returned to taxpayers.

I’d trust Tucker about as far as I could throw him. He’s an actor.

Yeah, that would ensure a Biden victory.

No.

Trump’s VP is the frontrunner for the 2028 President and needs to be ready to dismantle the 80% unconstitutional portion of the feds and reinstate the Constitution and State sovereignty.

Tucker is not that man. Neither is DeSantis. Ramaswamy talks about it (the only one that I can see) but apparently he has other problems.

God, help Trump find the right VP for this critical time in America, in Jesus name, Amen.

Tulsi Gabbard would be my top choice. But I don’t see it happening.

He’s an actor.

So was Reagan. That said, I agree. Tucker is fine where he is. Trump needs someone who knows the government mechanics, isn't needed where he is right now, is more trustworthy than Pence, and could continue MAGA.

I don't have the answer to that question.

“ I like Trump/Desantis.”

Constitutional issues aside, Ron pretty much ended any chance of that happening.

I don’t disagree. A lot of people don’t see through the veneer. He’s equivocal when it comes to doing whatever it takes to restore our Free Constitutional Republic.

No way would Trump ever pick DeSantis. That ship sailed when DeSantis joined with Jebra clan.

DeSantis is beholden to the Ryan/Rommey wing of the RINO party.

Trump’s VP will be the frontrunner for President in 2028. I presumptively don’t trust a woman there for a lot of reasons for which many here at FR would like to take my head off.

Tucker has already said he would not be interested in running for office. He likes what he does.
