LOUISVILLE, Ky. โ
Gov. Andy Beshear secured another four years at the helm of Kentucky, defeating his republican challenger Daniel Cameron on election day.
The race was one of the most closely watched in the country, believed provide clues about the 2024 presidential race.
Kentucky picked up votes in several counties this election compared to his last run against Matt Bevin in 2019.
The interactive map below shows how voters voted county by county.

Eastern Kentucky is coal country, Appalachia, they would not vote for a black man to be Governor.
I know from previous experience in the 2006 PA governor race, I asked my uncle who he would vote for, Rendell or Swann, he said to me, he wasn't going to vote.
Mods pull if too controversial.
You are correct.
Bingo .... you named the elephant in the room... clear as black and white and shades of.
The big urban centers outweigh the rural areas in every state. And Democrats control the urban votes.
This, Mrs rktman’s plan is whoever wins more counties WINS!. BOOM? ๐๐

That is a poorly written article.
I believe you. What nobody seems to be talking about is that total turnout was over 100k less than 4 years ago. Which suggests that pro-aborts were not turning out in droves as the Fake News and RINOs would have you believe, but instead that someone else was staying home in droves.
The people you describe may very well be that someone else who stayed home.
There could be some measure of cheating going on. You can’t tell me that those who influenced the vote through mail-in ballots or drop boxes aren’t continuing to refine the system down to the county.
“Eastern Kentucky is coal country, Appalachia, they would not vote for a black man to be Governor.”
Dumb bastards would rather vote for the party that’s trying to kill their livelihoods/survival.
Other than Trump endorsed, i know nothing about the candidate. Was he also Mitch endorsed? Who did The Turtle want? I dont expect analysis from the media.
โhe was still the only Republican to lose his race on this year’s ticketโ
So they cheated, but only for one candidate?
While I’m certain the unfortunateness of the abortion debated played into the races, but I also think the system they created to win in 2020 has been refined since then.
Let me guess...Louisville blacks voted overwhelmingly for the white democrat over the black republican.
And, with Soros ads labeling him an Uncle Tom and race traitor, I bet he was unable to motivate blacks to come out to vote for him, if they bothered to turn out at all.
Were there any marijuana issues on the ballot? That is how the Dems get their turnout.
Plus, Cameron was blasted with an abortion issue and outfinanced. Racist Rs also had a convenient excuse with Beshear's disaster response which was good.
Beshear appears moderate and is popular. Should McConnel pass or retire before 2026 Beshear has vowed to defy KY constitutional law and appoint a D senator and fight it out in court. Such action COULD flip the senate to D control.
If that happens, Beshear will become the D golden boy for '28. If it happened in '24 Ds might elevate him to run immediately. Watch him.
No Abortions + Welfare = Bad Juju
Cameron is a particularly sharp dude. He’ll be in Trump’s WH...my guess.
Beshear had a 100,000 plurality in Jefferson Co. (Louisville). In the rest of Kentucky Cameron had more votes. Beshear carried Warren Co. (Bowling Green) although Trump carried that county easily both in 2016 and 2020. Maybe it was college students at Western Kentucky University fired up over abortion.
Also, the pro-life side never says this enough.....
ABORTION IS FOR DEPOPULATION......No blacks or browns ...Even the black CEO of Planned Parenthood admitted they were racist ...for years....Annnd she admitted PP was racist after Sanger died....They were still putting out her racist agenda....
