On Tuesday night, Democrats maintained control of the State Senate and regained control of the House in Virginia. It was the opposite of what Youngkin wanted, which was a Republican trifecta that could help easily move his agenda through the legislature.

Does anyone trust Newsweek?
Oh please how much “mockery” has there been from Republicans?
Is there anything substantive in the article?
Dems mock and ridicule because that’s what they do. They’re all 5 years old mentally
Glenn Youngkin isn’t Trump he isn’t MAGA and so he lost.
Youngkin was busy defending the 2020 steal—not the kind of stuff that motivates the base....
Bull. This was about abortion. 50 years of lip service to repeal of RvW and when it happened the GOP had no idea how NOT to make it a disaster.
It's from Newsweek. See Tagline.
read close. The Trump acolytes are doing the exact same thing in this forum. And your analysis fits.
Devastating?
And of course, Newsweek just loves to act as the megaphone for the mockers.
Trump cultists were celebrating Virginia last night all over Twitter bc the outcome would hurt Youngkin
They are psychopaths.
“Does anyone trust Newsweek?”
Not particularly but how is that relevant?
The Democrat base turned out to vote for pro-abortion candidates.
The Republican base stayed home even though there were a couple of good candidates. And Moms for Liberty candidates did not do as well as some had hoped in Louden county school board races, which really wasn’t a surprise given the lack of funding and political experience.
Republicans avoiding early and mail-in voting is not a winning strategy.
Youngkin has been on a losing trajectory since the 2nd month of his failed administration...
His final “nail in the coffin” came when, just before election, he pissed on Trump by essentially saying the 2020 election was correct and Biden is President...
I know a few MAGA Americans who decided to sit this one out...
Know how they feel...
Here in MD, going to the polling places on election day and getting in long lines of bussed-in DC residents and MIVs who cannot understand a word of English is the reason why it is better to just stay home and clean your tools of defense...
They were everywhere on Twitter. They only care about whether it helps Trump politically.
They were laughing and mocking Youngkin.
Trump is a disaster.
They have to acknowledge that Trump is the leader of the party. I will throw them a bone though. Trump and MAGA need to accept there input on what they want out of candidates. United we stand divided we fall.
Actually it is the Twitter users that are the disaster.
For all you know they are Chinese agents or Democrat imposters.
Start with Laura Loomer. She’s the chief lunatic Trump cultist.
