Nearly 30,000 lbs. of Tyson chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with metal pieces have been recalled.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall Saturday for Tyson's 29 oz. bag of fully cooked fun nuggets breaded shaped chicken patties. Bags with the dinosaur-shaped nuggets were sold in Tennessee and Kentucky, as well as Alabama, California, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Consumer complaints reporting small metal pieces inside the chicken led to the recall, according to the USDA. One minor oral injury is associated after consuming the product.
The recalled bags have a "Best If Used By date" of SEP 04, 2024, and lot codes
2483BRV0207
2483BRV0208
2483BRV0209 and
2483BRV0210.
The product also has the establishment number “P-7211” on the back of the package.
If you have the recalled items, The USDA says to either throw them away or take them back to where you bought them.

When the industry went to the machines that strip the chicken tenders off the breasts, they had waste breast meat pieces left over.
A new breed of chicken pieces was created from this unusable white breast meat
I bought a bag of small potatoes a few years ago. I forget the brand. There were probably a dozen open safety pins in the bag. I told the company and the store where I bought them. No one seemed surprised or concerned.
