Turkey on Saturday became the latest country to pull its ambassador from Israel since the beginning of Israel’s war with Gaza-based militant group Hamas, citing Israel’s refusal to heed calls for a humanitarian pause in the conflict. Turkey recalled ambassador Sakir Ozkan Torunlar, according to a statement from Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday morning, calling out Israel for an “unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza” after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “no longer someone we can talk to,” though Erdogan acknowledged: “complete disconnection is not possible, especially in international diplomacy.”

Israel is hemorrhaging support across the world. The Israelis have already destroyed many eyes for the eye taken 10/7. Negotiate a ceasefire, exchange prisoners for hostages and attempt to resuscitate the Abraham Accords. Try to keep the lid on it until the peacemaker returns 1/20/25.

how many rockets were fired in the 8 years leading up to October 7?
Where was your dismal call for ceasefire then?

Israel should demand proof the hostages are still alive.

Jordan, a key U.S. ally in the Middle East, recalled its ambassador and ordered Israel’s ambassador in Jordan not to return to the country, its Foreign Ministry announced Wednesday in a statement on X, accusing Israel of “killing innocent people” and “causing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe” with “dangerous possibilities for its expansion.”

Well, then, Jordan, why don't you take back in all of the "Palistinians" that were ejected from your country after Black September (17 September 1970) ... oh, that's right ... you don't want them either ...

“Israel should demand proof the hostages are still alive.”

Proof that may not be available any longer.

Rashida Tlaib is entirely correct that there is genocide going on in Gaza. It is being applied indiscriminately between the captured Israelis and the people who call themselves “Palestinians” occupying Gaza. And Hamas is carrying out that chore all on their own.

Israel can not survive surrounded by Billion Muslims.
Only chance it has is to negotiate 2 state solution and make peace. The days of acting tough are long gone.

It’s a geopolitical theatrics to appease their citizens. All of these countries are still helping Israel in one way or another.

Even Turkey’s airspace is still wide open for the countries helping Israel right now.

Pulling the ambassador while doing nothing is tacit approval.

When all the Hamas fighters and dives and mothers are dead, Jordan along with all the other Arab signers of the Abrams accords will take control of Palestine. The coalition will rebuild Palestine physically and politically.

First of all, the IDF must continue to kill Hamas where they live. All of them including the women and the children.

Yep. Same guy among so many other naive FReepers who also have been calling for Ukraine to surrender to the bloodthirsty Russians. It’s pathetic.

No, you are trying to play a game that has been over for years.

There is a new game being played as we post

When all the Hamas fighters and wives and mothers are dead, The Arab signers of the Abrams accords including Jordan, Egypt, The UAE and Saudi Arabia will take control of Palestine. The coalition will rebuild Palestine physically and politically. That decision was already made and on paper before Hamas attacked Israel.

First of all, the IDF must continue to kill Hamas where they live. All of them including the women and the children.

It seems to me that if the “Built Back Better” U.S. wants to kick somebody’s ass, it should be Turkey. Those people are a real PITA.

What exactly does a two state solution entail? How much autonomy would a Palestinian state have? The devil is in the details. IMO both parties have moved beyond a two state solution. It is old-think.

“Israel is hemorrhaging support across the world.”

Engaging in collective punishment has a tendency to cause that. If Turkey enters this thing Israel is screwed.

Only way to get rid of Hamas is to eliminate the reason for their existence. A 2 state solution eliminates need for Hamas.
