I went to a Five Guys restaurant yesterday for the first time. $23 for a hamburger french fries and a drink.
I’ll go to Texas Roadhouse instead.
Not affordable and actually always terrible.
Gee, I have an idea. How about making your own damn meals at home.
Higher "business" taxes and minimum wage = GOVERNMENT-FORCED HIGHER PRICES!!!
Quit voting for the Totalitarian Left.
I have grandkids. I went to McDonalds and the order came to $32 plus. No offense to any great American business, but at that rate, I can buy four steaks and throw them on the grill. And that is what I do now.
Far be it for McDonald’s to decrease their profit margin. (awaiting that FReeper who pushes free enterprise, to the detriment of the rest of us, to chew me out.)
Yet another wonderful consequence of Bidenomics.
But fear not, fast-food fans. Our globalist masters want to replace beef on hamburgers with ground-up insects. That should drive down prices at least a little.
Just yesterday, Poplar Bluff, Mo. Popeyes, $25.14 for an 8 piece chicken only, no sides.
Don’t blame McDonalds...
Thank the run away inflation caused by government spending
(and aggravated by everything joe does)
Get the app and use the deals like me or else you’re paying for my discounts. Until then, thank you. Also, use the app or the kiosks if you want service as McD’s doesn’t even man the registers anymore. You’re welcome.
"Beloved" is pure marketing BS.
Local mom and pop restaurants serve a full meal for $6.00 around here. Homemade too.
I buy frozen burgers at Costco and make my own fries (real potatoes) in an air fryer for almost nuffin and it’s untouched by Illegals
Best deal down here in South Florida is Flannigans, which runs a daily lunch special for $6.99. One of the choices is a burger with fries. which is 10 times larger and better than anything at McDonalds. (Other choices include sandwiches or a half roasted chicken). You also get a small soup included in the price. A great way to spend the afternoon watching a game. A cold beverage, plus tip and you are paying less than that $16 McDonalds meal deal. Why anyone would anyone down here go to McDs instead of Flannigans is beyond me.
“beloved”
Does ANYBODY “love” a restaurant? Especially a fast food “restaurant”?
We’ve got a couple of local fast food joints (”Zips”, “Paul Bunyan”) and their prices are pushing the same range. A basic double cheeseburger with bacon is $8.00 at each place, no fries, no drink.
That’s what happens when communist ideology is imposed on society. Bernie Sanders demanded higher wages for fast food workers and this is the result.
When I worked there in the late 80s a bigmac meals was $3.20 (sold too many of those, burned into my brain), which the interwebs says $8.23 now. So McD’s seems to be putting their thumb on the scale.
This is not Bidenomics. It is EU - USA integration. The Left wants European union socialism. People in Europe do not eat pit much at fast food restaurants and they are rare compared to to America.
