Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge James Ho doubled down on his refusal to hire clerks from certain elite law schools, saying the cancel culture he's witnessed on campuses is "antithetical to America."
In an interview with the Washington Examiner, Ho said his hiring boycott against Yale University and Stanford University has already made waves and garnered support among students who see discourse on their campuses improving.
"The real problem with the academy is not disruption but discrimination," he said. "Rampant discrimination against mainstream views held by millions of Americans but disfavored by the cultural elites who control the national discourse.”
“The intolerance we’re seeing on campus is antithetical to America, and it’s especially antithetical to the academy," Ho continued. "They need to put an end not only to the disruption but also to the discrimination. Otherwise, I have no choice but to change how I hire.”
Ho spoke to the Washington Examiner after delivering the keynote address at the Heritage Foundation's 16th Joseph Story Distinguished Lecture on Wednesday evening, where he challenged the lack of fortitude of federal judges, saying many suffer from "gold star syndrome" that disables their abilities to issue tough or unpopular decisions.

We need more judges such as Judge Ho.
It’s way worse than a Danger....
Judge HO needs to call out Traitor Roberts for backing hack Federal Judges. [And for not disbanding the FISA Courts]
There should be a moratorium from hiring Ivy League graduates all across the federal government. Contrary to what they would want you to believe, the Ivy League are not elite in educational terms, only in terms of the social connections you make. You get as good, or better, education in many state schools. Time to break up their domination in government.
I’m guessing Judge James Ho understands how important freedom really is... We need more Judges like him.
Looking back over the pages of history, I’ve come to the conclusion that the current disconnect between the elites of America who have the money to control politics and the average American people is very like that of 1780s France. The untold misery caused by the ridiculous and reckless spending of tax dollars by the elites doesn’t seem to register with them, or, at the very least, they simply don’t care.
We are invisible.
I have a sinking feeling that some of them are aware of the seething anger, and have something planned to hold onto power.
It won’t be good, whether it works or not.
I think that the next year is going to be one of the most momentous in our history, and God only knows how this will end.
French Revolution parallels
Exactly.
Well said.

Judge Ho, God bless him, is demonstrating here that he’s a “Master of the Obvious”. And until the equivalent of the HUAC of the 1950s is estabished with the power to actually DO SOMETHING about this problem, it’s only going to get worse. Remember that you heard it here first!
That’s a great site and I usually check in with them a couple times a week to get the latest on campus idiocracy.
Although, here is some encouraging news.
“East Carolina University completely eliminates all faculty DEI requirements”
What have we done to push back. 85% of Americans obeyed without question during covid. There were voices everywhere, including trumps White House calling for calm and focused tactics. Everyone with biology 999 knows rna respiratory viruses mutate as part of their replication.
We lost our freedom and now there are trannys in kindergarten.
We do not get this back.
So the elite finally accomplished, through trump, their wildest dreams of tyranny. He gave a prez commendation to fauci who led funding and operational aspects of development.
We said we may as people died alone in hospitals and homes without the humanity of a funeral.
