Palestinian-born Queen Rania of Jordan launched a remarkable attack on the West in an interview with CNN last night where she criticized America's support of Israel's retaliatory strikes against Hamas and claimed there was a 'double standard' in global sympathy for the war's victims.
Rania, who was born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents and grew up in the West Bank, raged against 'apartheid regime' Israel, claiming the conflict began 'before' Hamas killed 1,400 Israelis on October 7.
She said she 'of course' condemned the killing of innocent Israelis by Hamas but, asked why Israel's self-defense was not coming under the same level of global scrutiny and reserved all her sympathy for Palestinians.

there certainly is a double standard. the best way to fix that is for Israel to treat the civilians in Gaza the same way Israeli civilians were treated. no more double standard.
Maybe she should be reminded that she is only queen for life. And her reign may soon end if we see fit.

Another blind idiot trying to compare apples to oranges. I don’t recall Hamas telling Israelies to leave the area before they attacked. I don’t see women, elderly and children with their heads, legs and arms cut off by Israeli soldiers. I don’t hear of Palestinian women being raped by Israeli soldiers. Hamas declared war and that is what they are getting. And it appears that most Palestinians are supporters of Hamas as they let Hamas hide their equipment, weapons and ammo in their hospitals, mosques etc — all contrary to international law. So this -itch is just plain wrong.
