Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy looked up “ways to kill,” before she strangled her three young children to death earlier this year, court records reportedly alleged.
The latest details in the grisly murder case against the 33-year-old mother were revealed in newly unsealed search warrant affidavits.
“Ms. Clancy used her cellular telephone and her journal to document her mental state and her feelings about her children, in addition to keeping track of her medications, and researching ways to kill, which means that [it] is reasonable to conclude that Ms. Clancy would have used all formats and tools available to her including a tablet,” one affidavit said, according to the Boston Globe.
Clancy allegedly used exercise ropes to strangle her three kids — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3 and 8-month-old Callan — inside the Duxbury home she shared with her husband in January.
The new court documents do not spell out specific internet searches, the newspaper reported.
The affidavits were used by authorities to request access to Clancy’s electronic devices, including her cell phone, tablet and laptops, the Boston Herald reported.

Right... but some guidelines are necesary. For example ... a person with her complaint, with her pharmaceutical background AND with small chileren needs more oversight
There are a lot of objective guidelines that could be put in place. We have seen this before and it’s avoidable
IIRC “insanity” pleas rarely succeed in this country. She’ll either take a plea deal or she’ll be convicted.

During the day we were out watching elephants,lions,giraffes,etc and at night we sat around the fire eating and talking. The Swede was an older guy and very famous in the world of medical research so at night he basically conducted a class for the Germans.The man was fascinating (even to me) and at one point he said to me,in a response to a question I asked, "scientists know more about the surface of the moon than they know about the human brain".
Of course there are thoroughly evil people in the world...Stalin,Mao,Hitler and Ted Bundy being some of the more famous ones.
Other than God Himself who can be absolutely certain where this woman belongs on the "Evilness Scale"?
I go by that house frequently in my workday.
The people of Duxbury had made it into a shrine, with flowers and teddy dears and other memorabilia.
The BLM lawn signs have been replaced with “DUXBURY STRONG” and “WE ARE ONE” signs.
The shrine has been removed and, I suppose, the house sold, but the town is still traumatized.

Her husband said that the amount of anti depressants she was on was an “over the top cocktail” that “zombified” her. They both begged for help from doctors to get the drugs under co trol so that she wouldnt be so zoned out - apparently they didn’t receive it
Btw- I traveled to MGH to have a pituitary tumor removed because the doc was world renowned doc for pit tumors and because MGH had a machine that could assist in the delicate operation to make it less risky. Per my usual luck, I had the operation and later found out that the assist machine had broken down and he wasn’t able to use it. But fortunately ately the operation went well and I retained my eyesight mostly. So am thankful for that.

Here’s what happened:
On January 24, she searched Apple Maps for the drive time to and from a restaurant, and she called to place an order. Then, she told her husband to pick up the order. When he left, she texted him to pick up medication at CVS on the way to the restaurant. When he called to ask which medication, she sounded normal but “seemed like she was in the middle of something.”
When he returned home, he found her on the ground with cuts to her wrist and neck (she’d cut herself and jumped out a second floor window). He asked where the kids were, and she said, “In the basement.” So, he went to the basement, where he found the children.
I'd imagine so. The neighbors might even wonder if they could've done something to stop it.
They only need to get a microscope and look at that stuff on the bottom of your grill, when you BBQ...that’s his brain

Another question. Is all or most mental illness due to evil influences (ie demonic)?
Perhaps. But the community is very wealthy, and the homes are isolated from each other. It’s one of the wealthiest towns in Massachusetts, and people are very “private”.
