Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy looked up “ways to kill,” before she strangled her three young children to death earlier this year, court records reportedly alleged.
The latest details in the grisly murder case against the 33-year-old mother were revealed in newly unsealed search warrant affidavits.
“Ms. Clancy used her cellular telephone and her journal to document her mental state and her feelings about her children, in addition to keeping track of her medications, and researching ways to kill, which means that [it] is reasonable to conclude that Ms. Clancy would have used all formats and tools available to her including a tablet,” one affidavit said, according to the Boston Globe.
Clancy allegedly used exercise ropes to strangle her three kids — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3 and 8-month-old Callan — inside the Duxbury home she shared with her husband in January.
The new court documents do not spell out specific internet searches, the newspaper reported.
The affidavits were used by authorities to request access to Clancy’s electronic devices, including her cell phone, tablet and laptops, the Boston Herald reported.

Omg
It’s mind blowing that any mother would kill her own flesh and blood.
Is she Evil or a Mental Case?
Mental case
She planned everything. She ordered takeout and sent her husband to pick it up. While he was out, she murdered the children. Now, we know she searched how to murder the children. I don’t buy the insanity defense in this case.
At the very least she was no street bum addict. What she did was surely evil but it's by no means certain that *she* was/is evil.
I know a bit about this stuff because I'm a retiree of MGH,having spent close to 30 years there. If she goes to trial (she certainly could take a plea) I'll make it a point to be there. Given her profession and that she's a fellow MGH employee I'm now very interested in this case.
Article said husband was in the basement when police arrived and kids were discovered dead.

More ‘experts’ who dropped the ball. You can take the word ‘expert’ out of the dictionary
Post partum psychosis.
Well known psychotic state that is the result of post partum depression.
Why depression in New mothers is so serious.
Husband came home and discovered that wife had killed the children.
Now we’re feeling the effects of all the stuff we’ve been handing out like candies. Absolutely revolting someone could do such a thing, and nobody at the top’s gonna feel a thing.
I don’t think we can blame it all on them, to take away responsibility from the perp is significantly more disgusting...
Evil...I’m not sure if I could say anything else unless I want to be banned.
And just for the record...medicine is an inexact science.
She’s a Dung Beetle Party, Bidenskyyyyyy supporter.
And if you know her attorney, you know that she’s not going to be found guilty.
Just like Andrea Yates, she will get away with it.
“What she did was surely evil but it’s by no means certain that *she* was/is evil.”

In no Einstein but that distinction is splitting hairs.
In my book, she know EXACTLY what she was doing. She researched it for God’s sake, and had to systematically kill each child, one by one, and move on to the next. This was no mental lapse in the fit of rage.
If that doesn’t certainly make her evil, then, what does??
She could have jumped out the window without ever touching those children, yet she didn’t.
And the husband forgiving her? WTF
I hope she gets her eternal reward!
