Yeah, I caught that. Now loosening the licensing requirements appears to be more general, but where are normal Israelis going to be able to buy guns let alone ammo? There is very little supply available from what I've read.

I have thought for years that Israel maintained an armed citizenry, rather on the order of Switzerland, and with far more cause. I’m almost certain that was once true, but obviously went by the board if it was. Frankly, I’m surprised.

I thought that as they came of age each citizen had to do mandatory reserve training in which they received their own personal rifle and kept it with them in their civilian life.   I remember seeing photos of Israeli girls in bikinis with their rifles slung on their backs.

Good question. Lots of their FALs and Galils were sold off as demilled parts kits.

whenever ANYONE tells you “Why do you need an AR-15 with 30 rounds” show them the videos coming out of Israel and say “Wanna ask me that question again”

And when they say we don't have people on our border intent on killing us, just point out that a sh*t ton of the illegal entrants to our country are those very people in the videos.
