Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) on Tuesday called on House Republicans to expel Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and defeat his motion to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) from his post.
In a scathing op-ed published in The Washington Post, Gingrich attacked the Florida Republican as “anti-Republican” and said Gaetz was engaging in “childish behavior” and “has become actively destructive to the conservative movement. “Gaetz’s motion to remove McCarthy should be swiftly defeated, and then he should be expelled from the House Republican Conference. House Republicans have far more important things to do than entertain one member’s ego,” Gingrich wrote.
“Gaetz has gone beyond regular drama. He is destroying the House GOP’s ability to govern and draw a sharp contrast with the policy disasters of the Biden administration,” he wrote.

I used to LOVE Newt, but ever since he married “that woman”, he has lost his mind.
Definitely NOT the Newt I used to know.
Matt Gaetz actually reflects constitutional, conservative values.
He doesn’t lionize Lincoln in every spoken paragraph, and suck up to the Soro/Socialists.
Newt is tiresome.

Newt was a bomb-thrower, came up with a brilliant “Contract with America “ to end 40 years of Dim control over the House…and then never did all that much with his new power on the way to becoming a lead Uniparty member. I used to really admire him, but Newt is dead to me now.

What did he do? He promised several things, held a vote that was not passed, and then passed on the things he promised. Gingrich has always been part of the Deep State/NWO and likely the WEF.
One of the biggest accepted lies is that Republicans are Conservatives.
They are not and they never have been. They needed conservative voters to win so they paid lip service and lie prior to elections. That is why people feel let down when they always show you who they really are.
They are being who they are which is assistants to RATs. It is conservatives that think the GOP represents them that is confused.
He turns to the WP to whine. That is all I need to know. In my lifetime- These leader/ speaker types have always been owned by the deep state.
Just look at how the GOP bigwigs sabotaged Goldwater in 64.
Gaetz didn't throw McCarthy out, he put it up for a vote and a majority threw him out.
In a non-clown world the Speaker of the House would face the same vote every day Congress was in session. Make it part of roll call.
Maybe so-called Republicans should stop promising to act on their Republican campaign promises if elected, and then completely abandoning them to give the demoncraps everything they want and getting nothing in return, except comet pizza boys delivered to their bachelor pads for selling out to them.
