Federal Appeals Court Upholds Tennessee’s Ban Against Sex Change Treatments For Children

Tennessee can move forward with a ban on gender-transition treatment for minors, according to a federal court ruling from September 28.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit rejected an appeal from families of transgender children, stating that the laws do not discriminate based on age or sex. The ruling, which prohibits treatments such as puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries, applies to both Tennessee and Kentucky.

Only a few years ago, before liberals went loony over transgenders, laws against genital mutilation for minors would have made sense to just about everybody. Sure, a lot of teenagers have questions about their upcoming role as a man or woman, but the vast majority of them get over it by the time they grow up, and accept the gender God gave them.

There is no such thing as a sex change operation. The most that medical science can do is sterilize children, cut off their genitals, reproductive organs and breasts, and construct no-functioning replicas of genitals of the opposite sex.
