They push as far as they can, then back off when the backlash gets big enough. All part of the plan.

The important thing is they have moved the Overton Window and get to keep a lot of the stolen ground.

Dems will simply retire that meme and replace it with another manufactured “crisis”.

Fear mongering is failing. They don’t fear monger with the real threats to Americans, like fascism or nuclear war, which are apparently things they support.

The probable cure for both climate and energy crises is on the horizon with the advent of Copenhagen Atomics small modular molten-salt thorium reactor...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U434Sy9BGf8&t=915s

I saw a compelling argument which explained that the earth’s temperature causes CO2 rise, not the other way around.

from the viewpoint of long-term cycles throughout millions of years of earth’s history, temperature and CO2 have both been much higher in past. Now, both temperature and CO2 are at a low point, and seemingly, beginning to rise - but hardly due to man’s activity.

We pray for increased global temperature. Each incremental increase allows a massive amount of food production increase. Even one day added to the growing season globally would solve all supply related hunger problems.

The decrease in home heating energy is so massive from a one degree rise it would change energy production dramatically.

We want it warm.

Some people need to be called to account for foisting on us the “global warming” (aka “climate change”) “crisis.”

[[ “If you try to do climate brute force, you will get people who say, ‘I like climate but I don’t want to bear that cost and reduce my standard of living.’”]]

“I like climate”? Sheesh! What can we blame man on ruining next for something he cant in any way shape and form control?

How about “I like gravity, and we all must do our part to pay for our enviro-sins which is causing the destruction of gravity”

— the air’s gone out of the climate-crisis balloon.

Wishful thinking. The Left is relentless and won't abandon their climate control goals, because this is the vehicle they've chosen to seize and maintain permanent power.

there was always ZERO chance of anything we do having an effect if China and India were not going to do it also.

And that is assuming there was an issue that could be fixed to begin with!

As soon as Bill Gates weighs in on a subject, you can write it off as hysteria (at best) or a full-blown hoax.

The guy is a college dropout with no professional training or credentials that I’m aware of … and yet in the media he’s peddled as an expert on infectious diseases, climate, or any other issue du jour that useless totalitarian bureaucrats are using to exercise control over people.

This loser should have focused his time and energy on fixing the viruses in his own company’s operating system.

Just like I suspected.
He is backing off as the message is “wrong”.
Solution is “change the message”

Anybody remember this exchange at the end of "Three Days of the Condor"? Cuz we're there when it comes to "Climate Change"...

Higgins: It's simple economics. Today it's oil, right? In ten or fifteen years, food. Plutonium. Maybe even sooner. Now, what do you think the people are gonna want us to do then?

Joe Turner: Ask them.

Higgins: Not now - then! Ask 'em when they're running out. Ask 'em when there's no heat in their homes and they're cold. Ask 'em when their engines stop. Ask 'em when people who have never known hunger start going hungry. You wanna know something? They won't want us to ask 'em. They'll just want us to get it for 'em!
