Conservative efforts to downplay the events of Jan. 6, 2021, and allege the political “weaponization” of the government seem to ratchet up with each passing week. Wash. Post propaganda is always going frame things that are nothing in reality as much worse than they actually are, because their readers are idiots who will buy the narrative hook, line & sinker. they also know that selling the narrative is more effective than getting caught in a lie, because people generally never listen beyond that initial introductory point.
