Do you recall the days when a celebrity endorsement actually meant something? It’s a journey back in time, but there was an era when a celebrity’s words carried a lot of influence, and people paid attention to what they said. I understand that might sound somewhat unbelievable, given the current landscape we’re in. Celebrities have plummeted in the ranks to the point where folks often do the exact opposite of what Hollywood elites suggest just to snub their noses at them.
There was a poll conducted in 2019 about “celebrity influence” and how it was significantly dropping. Imagine how much worse these numbers are now in 2023, after all the TDS and social justice nonsense that’s unfolded.
...
A large majority of registered voters say political endorsements from celebrities have no impact on their voting, according to a new poll.
A Hill-HarrisX survey released Friday found that 65 percent of respondents said political pronouncements from Hollywood stars have no bearing on their decisions at the ballot box.
Twenty-four percent said endorsements would make them less likely to vote for a particular candidate, while 11 percent said the celebrity endorsements made them more likely to vote a certain way.
...
There are many reasons for this shift, with one of the key reasons being the impact of social media. You see, when celebrities have the freedom to express themselves without the watchful eye, filter, and guidance of publicists, most of them stumble. That’s precisely what’s happened with many of today’s celebrities — they’ve destroyed their reputations on social media because they don’t know how to behave without a team of PR professionals telling them what to say and do.
Another significant reason for their decline is politics. Thanks to their Stage 5 Trump Derangement Syndrome, celebrities haven’t just dipped their toes into politics; they’ve literally gone off the deep end in the most irrational and hysterical ways imaginable. Politics and social justice have driven a major wedge between Hollywood and their fan base. What complicates matters even further is how completely out-of-touch with the general public most celebrities are nowadays. They know nothing about us, yet believe they have the magic formula to tell us how to live and what to believe in. It’s infuriating, especially coming from such deviant, godless ghouls. Fortunately for us, these self-absorbed elites are beginning to grasp reality, largely thanks to the force of social media and the collective pushback against them. But this public awakening has caught a lot of them off guard.
One prime example of this surprise is Oprah Winfrey, who recently faced tremendous backlash when she and “The Rock” – two exceedingly wealthy elites – had the audacity to request contributions from hardworking Americans to aid Maui residents. Of course, we want to help, but most Americans are trying to muck their way through Biden’s horrific economy, complete with soaring inflation, job layoffs, and stagnant wages. So, maybe the bazillionaires, could step up and take one for the team? What makes matters worse is that Oprah and many of her rich friends have been buying up native land all over Maui.
...
Now, Oprah is suddenly “shocked” to find out that regular folks aren’t exactly thrilled about getting guilted by super-rich, out-of-touch elites.
Colin Rugg, the co-founder of Trending Politics had this to say about Oprah’s “shock”:
Oprah says she was really sad after the backlash she faced after donating $10M to Maui fire victims with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
“It made me sad that we are at this state in our country.”
Oprah, who is worth $2.8B, said she was just trying to be like Dolly Parton.
“So, we thought, $10 million, we start off the fun, we’ll do what Dolly did, get other people to give money and then we’ll put it directly into the people’s bank accounts.”
“I was so excited about it, and then I got up the next morning, and I saw all of this vitriol and I was like, ‘Whoa, what happened here?’”
...
Elites like Oprah need to face the undeniable truth – “celebrity fan culture” is fading into the twilight. In this era, what people crave is honesty, integrity, and depth. There’s nothing we love more than watching these clueless elites get owned.
...
Hollywood’s immorality and its culture of deviance fall painfully short in fulfilling what Americans are yearning for today.
Who is she?
She would have supported George Floyd for the OVAL OFFICE if had come up.
I am stealing the phrase “STREET HEIFER”.
Okra looks like Aunt Jamima
“People who watch Okra are not normal.”
People who watch Okra don’t even have a job.
"But Winfrey insisted that the problem would not be solved until older Americans ... die off. ... “There are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it ... and they just have to die.”
You first, you diabetic fat weave qween, prefaced by a debilitating stroke and years of sh-tting yourself. And then your mac daddy can give you a hug in hell.
Okra has been pushing her leftist agenda and Hollywood values on the American public for years. Her talk show was nothing but a platform to spread Democratic propaganda and promote morally questionable causes
“we’ll do what Dolly did, get other people to give money and then we’ll put it directly into the people’s bank accounts.”
Did Dolly really do this?
“0rca Khazzer”..
I myself would not paeon that fiend of 0bama!
You are too kind. 😂 It’s one thing to not work. It’s a completely another thing to have no self respect, being fat and lazy. Okra viewers watch to get the their next fad diet and book recommendation. They fill their minds and pie holes full of mush. The result can be seen at Walmart. That bat chit crazy woman wearing her lime green polyester pants that cling to the ripples of her cellulite, and toting honey bo bo and five other chudren sired by six different men is the typical Okra viewer. Dumb, fat, ugly, amoral trailer trash.
And I hated how Oprah was interviewing him and acting like she was dumbfounded that this guy would do this. Like, she's been in show business for 35 years, and she can't, like, wrap her head around some guy doing whatever it takes to get to the next level. Didn't she for the first five years have, like, midgets who wanted to bang the mailman's boyfriend? [Laughter] And she-- she didn't want to do it! She didn't want to do it, but she didn't have the power to say no. So she rode it out, and then when she could make a good decision, [Laughter] she did a show, but she stood on the heads of those little people [Laughter] for five years until she got-- and then, she's sitting there across from this guy, like-- like, so how could you-- [Laughter] It's-- you know exactly what he's doing! It's the stupidest thing I have ever seen.
I guess I was referring to married housewives that don’t have to work because their husbands have a good job. Thye get a real distorted sense of reality when they don’t have to work every day.
It really helped when wealthy celebrities sent out their videos from their multi million dollar luxury properties telling us we all had to quarantine in our little tiny apartments and houses and wear masks as we toil away.
There are very, very few married housewives. Just look at the single mom and divorce stats. Okra’s audience is hugh. They are in public assistance, which far out numbers married women with men that can support them.
Maybe her PR firm supplies her with ‘citizens’ who fawn over her... or maybe she can’t read the room anymore. That said, I’m sure Oprah’s not the only liberal elite looking to get cheap land from desperate people.
I assume it’s the same name as:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ofra_Haza
f is aspirated p (like a ph).
Oprah’s not the only liberal elite looking
to get cheap land from desperate people.
.....for sure..........
I saw a breakdown sheet from their new charity that’s “putting money directly into the hands that need it”. Literally hundreds of thousands of dollars Each in salaries to a bunch of “administrators “ its obscene.
