Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on a federal gun charge out of Special Counsel David Weiss' investigation.
Biden was charged with making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm; false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer; and one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.
The charges come after an original plea agreement collapsed in July. Hunter Biden was expected to plead guilty in July to two misdemeanor tax counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax as part of a plea deal to avoid jail time on a felony gun charge.
Hunter Biden was forced to plead not guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and one felony gun charge.

That would be correct. Once his plea bargain deal fell through, he was left with no option but to plead guilty or not guilty. I looked at that a couple of times myself, but forced was the correct word to use.

Wow! The smartest guy Slow Joe knows has been indicted on three felony charges. Let’s review:
A licensed attorney and member “in good standing” of the D. C Bar
An illegal drug addict for most of his adult life
A convicted tax cheat
And our president allows him to continue to sell his father’s influence.

Let’s see, what are the phrases, the excuses? ‘Sorry, we cannot comment/discuss details of an ongoing/current/open investigation.’ All the Congressional, Special Counsel, and any other investigations will have to wait. Real evidence will be altered or conveniently ‘misplaced.’ (Ask Sandy Burglar for the location of missing materials).
The Deep State hides any and all exculpatory evidence that assists any conservative. When attacking conservatives, the process is the punishment. With leftists, they use process to hide crime details. They will stretch it out to way beyond the elections.

Hunter’s lawyers are going to argue that the 2nd Amendment does not preclude drug users and felons from owning firearms.

Slow Joe hasn’t the mental capacity to understand that his kid is no damn good, or doesn’t think that any of this is wrong. Either way, he is unfair to serve as president. What’s next? “Gosh, I thought nuking Russia wouldn’t be bad”?
The DNC hasn’t yet distanced itself from this dumpster fire of a president. Which means they don’t have the mental acuity to understand that he needs to be dropped off at the Trembling Acres Nursing Home.
His cabinet is failing to remove him for the good of the nation. Yes. at this point, Kamalalabaabaa is better than slow Joe is.
The democrat electorate isn’t walking away from this burnt out half-wit. This morning’s Rasmussen Poll shows 46% of Americans approve of the job he isn’t doing.
Sloe Joe repeatedly insists that Hunter is the smartest guy he knows. This doesn’t speak will for his cabinet or Barack Obama, now does it?
Look, I have a son. I love him even when he does stupid things. But I would NEVER allow him to use MY name for personal gain, or my employer and my influence through my job. If slow Joe cannot separate a father’s love from his responsibilities professionally, he needs to go.

Darrell Issa just called Hunter Biden a troubled “young man”. Hunter Biden is 53 years old! This “young man” is already old enough for AARP membership.
He was forced to plead. No one forced him to plead one way or the other. Maybe I read too much into the wording, but it seemed to me that the intent of the wording was to imply he is not guilty and forced to say that. He could have just plead guilty as he was going to in the previous plea deal.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer dropped the hammer on Joe Biden, saying “not even President Biden is above the law.”
After much anticipation, the day has finally come when Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has decided to formally open an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden.
Biden is accused of abusing his position and power. The impeachment accuses him of committing numerous high crimes by running an international bribery scheme with his son Hunter.
Subpoenaed bank records show that at least nine Biden family members received at least 30 million in unexplained wire transfers from foreign businesses. Even to of Biden’s grandchildren were among the recipients.
“Chairman Comer has proved the Biden family engaged in a disturbing pattern of corruption that included selling government access to foreign adversaries like China. I fully support Speaker McCarthy’s commitment to follow the facts wherever they lead and ensure no one, not even President Biden, is above the law.”
McCarthy says Biden is guilty of “abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption.”

I took the wording to be rather obtuse as well. It makes it sound just as you framed it. But that is one reason I stopped watching Fox news a long long time ago, well over a decade, & perhaps 2 decades ago.
A less image provoking way to have framed it, would have been to say; Hunter was compelled to enter a plea, and he chose to enter a not guilty plea.
Fox news is against those he supposedly started his news empire to cater to. He hates us even more so, when we became supports of the MAGA movement.
Those who claim to be MAGA & continues to watch Fox news & thus supports them, are either not MAGA supporters or they are supporting an organization that personally hates them.
Bottom line is that Hunter will never face a day in jail.
