Democrats love to use MAGA as a word to describe Republicans as heartless, anti-government, unpatriotic, dangerous, whatever. MAGA, in fact, is simply a reference to making the United States the strongest, most self-sufficient, generous, fairest, caring, and citizen-friendly of nations. It’s time to quit letting Democrats disparage Republicans and it’s time for Republicans to explain to citizens why MAGA is far better that Democrat liberalism socialistic big over-controlling intrusive government.
It’s strange that the idea should be controversial.
Our party should be proud of having a large active group that want American great again.
Make America great again?
If not America, what country?
I’ve said it before...
Any time democrats attempt use MAGA as a four-letter word...
republicans should expand the acronym to it’s full meaning, rendering their attack fruitless...
thus... “MAGA republicans becomes ‘Make America Great Again’ republicans’”
And then, democrats would have to explain what is wrong with ‘making America great again’.
I hate to break this to you... but republiCAN’Ts HATE MAGA, and the people that believe in it...
There is no rational argument against MAGA.
The only way to verbalize any viable opposition to MAGA is to first create a “straw man” that pretends to be MAGA but isn’t.
This is why I always say there is nobody who truly understands their own opposition to Trump.
The idea in and of itself is not controversial, it’s Trump that’s controversial, the MAGA movement only became popular when Trump started wearing the Red Hat with that on it, since then MAGA has become the same as speaking about Trump, everything MAGA is everything Trump.
When Trump is gone win or lose in 2024, that’s it for him running for office, the problem is after Trump leaves the political scene, MAGA will likely die off, because in many cases MAGA has been it’s own worst enemy.
Many in the movement has taken a scorched earth philosophy, either you are 100% MAGA and loyal or you are a scum Establishment Globalist, etc.
The problem with that idea is MAGA can’t win national elections or that many statewide elections on their own, the Republican establish is in the same boat, until the two sides come to some type of understanding, Republicans will continue to lose elections they should be winning, Arizona and Georgia are two prime examples.

I guess you haven’t talked to a Democrat voter lately. You can’t explain anything to them.
We are all being lied to - but the Democrat voters are the ones that believe those lies - that’s why they vote Democrat. The Democrat voter base is literally comprised entirely of those people who believe whatever ABCNNBCBS (and FOX) reports as “news”.
Sadly, the principle lie they are taught is that WE can’t be trusted - that the truth is the lie, and the lie is the truth. They are convinced that everything we say is a lie, a conspiracy theory, “hate speech” or “anti-science”.
So, as soon as you try to explain something to them, they are programmed to reflexively reject it.
