Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “America Reports” that if the Republican Party were divided, it would leave Democrats in power, which could bring the United States down a “road to socialism.”
Anchor Trace Gallagher said, “The next debate, GOP primary debate is coming up in a few weeks.”
He asked, “What’s the strategy going forward, senator, for you to get more speaking time, for you to get your name out there more often?”
Tim Scott said, “Great question. Substance will drive my debate performance. I will provide the American people with an adult in the room. What we cannot abide by is a food fight where the two biggest winners are Joe Biden’s campaign and national media that loves to see Republicans fighting with Republicans.”

Trump’s name calling and personal attacks against Republicans who are equally non-socialist are part of the problem. Insults like “Desactimonious” and “Lying Ted”.
Thank you for your courteous replay. We will have to agree to disagree. I would never support him as VP but it will be Trump’s choice.
Republicans have always fought Republicans, it’s the nature of the uni party beast.
-Some Republicans jumped ship when Nixon was made Eisenhower’s VP.(See Senator Wayne Morse)
- Same group bailed on Goldwater in 1964
- Same group voted for Anderson in 1980
- Same group bailed on Trump in 2016
- Same group supported the Big Steal of 2020, while quietly becoming Biden Republicans
- In 2024 they’re looking for anybody but Trump for President.
Unfortunately for them, their bad behavior throughout the Trump Era has left them in a weak position to influence events in 2024.
Trump hating Republicans are up a “creek without a paddle.”
Tim Scott is an idiot.
Oh really, a guy who backed that ole harridan Murkowski?
What is wrong with people?
Right. So STFU and get behind Trump.
Byron Donalds and Trump are both from Florida. Trump will need to move.
In that highly unlikely event, we'd have to draft Rand Paul. Certainly not Tim Scott.
This clown endorsed Lisa Murkowski.
NO THANKS
Gerald Ford was a bigger opponent of Ronald Reagan than Jimmy Carter. Scranton and Rockefeller opposed Goldwater, not Lyndon Johnson. GOP has always been full of quislings.
The Democrat half of the Uni-Party under Pres_ent Obama changed the cover page and mandated Socialized Healthcare aka ObamaCare throughout the U.S. and neither half of the Uni-Party has thrown it out since then.
The RINOs actively help build the road to Socialism, hence their opposition to President Trump.
Yep.
Your great post shows Tim Scott is the biggest divider of them all.
As I say, all that is necessary for a Republican leader to make Trump supporters, myself included, happy is to say something like “A lot of funny stuff happened in 2020, and I think it should be looked at”.
Tim, and people like him DO NOT need to conclude that the election was stolen, but if they claim it wasn’t stolen, they are doing so WITHOUT EVIDENCE*, which is why we get pissed at them.
*there is no evidence either way, since there has not been a serious investigation of what happened in 2020.
Then get out of the ridiculous race and support Trump.
The road to socialism runs through a unified Republican Party filled with feckless frauds who preach fiscal responsibility at home while pissing away trillions of dollars on globalist military adventures abroad.
Tim Scott if you want to stop the GOP infighting then drop out of the race and pledge your full and unequivocable support for DONALD J TRUMP.
Anything less means you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
No, he would not. He’s a moron that has zero sense of what the MAGA base wants. He’s a deep state, virtue signaling Ukraine supporter. There was never a forever war he didn’t like. Scott has spent nearly his entire life as a lazy ass government employee and has ZERO accomplishments in the private sector.
Senator Scott, I agree. Please drop-out of the race, endorse Donald Trump, and go back to the Senate where you be of more use, helping your fellow Republican Senators fight socialism.
