Minnesota’s Stillwater Prison reportedly went into emergency lockdown after about 100 inmates took over a section of the facility.
According to reports, the inmates refused to return to their cells Sunday while facing high temperatures.
A Minnesota Department of Corrections spokesperson said the reason inmates “are refusing to return to their cells remains unclear.”

This kind of incident seems to be in the news quite often here lately. In this country, a Jail Break of that size used to be quite rare. Maybe it was kept secret before Social Media made them admit to it.

Nothing like extreme heat to cause people to get short-tempered. I’m all for punishment, but violent people and hot weather do not go well together. It’s a recipe for disaster. See summer time in Chicago or Atlanta for example.
