North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum said on Monday he would not serve as former President Trump’s running mate if the former president were to win the party’s nomination in 2024.
“No, I would not,” Burgum, who is also running for president, said in an interview on “CNN This Morning,” when asked whether he would serve as Trump’s vice president.
“Happy to do lots of other things. I [had a] fabulous 30 years in the private sector, a lot of opportunities there,” the North Dakota governor continued.
Burgum also shot down the suggestion of accepting a cabinet position.

I’m glad for the people of North Dakota and the fact that the Bakken Oil Reserve was found, so they can get a chance to make some money. Wonder what this guy would be doing if it weren’t for that.

Well what is he supposed to say? “I’m really running for VP or a cabinet position?”
ND doesn’t have enough clout for a VP running mate so I’m thinking cabinet.

He paid people $20 to donate $1 so he could make the debate stage. If he thinks other people are for sale, it proves he is for sale.
I doubt he could buy his way into a cabinet position.

Well, since Doug went first, I’ll say that I won’t serve as Trump’s running mate, either.
As of July 1, 2022, the entire population of North Dakota was 779,261, about the same population as Nashville Tennessee.
Basically, he is like the mayor of a medium size city. He is also on the list of being “friendly” to China. That’s all you need to know. /spit
Graduated College the same year Reagan was elected. Interesting to note he didn’t see any need to serve in uniform either on active duty or in the reserves. It would be interesting to know the family history in that regard.

I want to be clear on this, unlike Doug, if asked by President Trump to serve as Vice President, I, Fightin Kentuckian, will proudly serve.

There’s some gal governor from a flyover state that might do. I forget her name right now, but most everybody else is a swamp rat or not a NBC.
