This is a common problem, BTW. "Joe Politician", during the course of a long interview, responds to many questions. A "journalist" picks ONE of those questions, writes an article about it, and gets an inflammatory headline implying that Joe Politician just stood up, stated one of the many answers to many questions, with no context and without having been asked about it. FReepers then make stupid comments like "who asked you" ...

Yeah well, he admirably served this country for four years, has been labeled a traitor, seditionist, racist, insurrectionist, rapist, and liar. With all that, he is re-upping.
I think he has served this country. The Marxists are desperate for him to serve up to 1000 years in prison.
He just proved why he would never be asked. He’s weak. It will take a person of tremendous strength and character to be with Trump this time. Someone who will be capable of picking up the torch at the end of Trumps term. This guy just revealed he certainly doesn’t have what it takes.

As I post this reply, I noticed others have the same opinion too. Who is he? Never heard of him so he has no name recognition, which means he has nothing to offer to the Trump ticket. He must think highly of himself.....Although Ben Carson seems a little too soft, He’d bring more to the ticket than any Rino.

This is a nothing story for early in the primary season. Right now the only appropriate answer for all the candidates is they’re in it to win it. It’d be like asking Nick Saban at the start of football season if he’d accept Bama ending the season as anything but national champion.
