I’m generally not inclined to make a big deal out of a politician’s prior military service (or lack thereof) ... too many POS politicians wore our Uniform and then disgraced it.
However ...
When a very enthusiastic fan of a politician who did not wear our Uniform sneers at a different politician for not having done so ... the hypocrisy deserves to be called out.

Personally, I like Doug. We were even briefly classmates in a college class, but he has made North Dakota into an immigration destination for exactly the wrong kinds of immigrants, including Ilhan Omar. What does that tell you?
No it’s an indicator though. It is notable how many flag wavers I meet took a pass on actually stepping up themselves. I see a lot of it on this forum and in the GOP in general.
