Former Vice President Mike Pence, a candidate for the GOP nomination, said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that that he was “confident” former President Donald Trump would not be the 2024 GOP nomination.
Pence said, “Well, look, I signed a pledge to be on that stage to say I would support the Republican nominee. I remain confident, more confident after Wednesday night, that Republican nominee will not be the former president.”

Whether Trump is the nominee has nothing to do with Mike Pence, Christie or any of them. The wildcards are the 4 indictments and what all happens with that.
Pence is completely irrelevant to the process. I have no idea why he is even running. He should just retire in Indiana and enjoy what’s left of his life.

You are way too generous. He didn’t have to give non reality BS answer. He could have said it wasn’t over or any other honest answer. Instead, we get a BS disingenuous answer that said Trump is less likely because of a debate that got half the audience of the last GOP debate. It was a typical politician answer that we are all sick to death of.
I’m confident that debate or no debate Pence will not be the nominee.

Sure. He just HAS to do certain things like putting into print that he chose the Constitution over Trump and later repeating (ad nauseam) the same virtue signal. He’s not to be confused with Trump’s poor choices on January 6. Ok, we get that answer but no one asked that question. How hard would it be to have waited for the question BEFORE defending his response? In a book!!
