DNC Chair on Gas Price, Mortgage Rate Spike: We’ve Had a Drop in Inflation
Breitbart ^ | 08/23/2023 | IAN HANCHETT

Posted on 08/23/2023 11:57:16 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

On Wednesday’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning,” DNC Chair Jaime Harrison responded to a question on whether the economy is a bad issue for President Joe Biden given the spike in gas prices and mortgage rates hitting 20-year highs by saying the economy isn’t a vulnerable spot and “Because of the Inflation Reduction Act, we have seen a precipitous drop in terms of inflation in this country. And so every economic measure out there shows that we’re not going into a recession. We are roaring back into the future on this economic message.”

Co-host Victor Blackwell asked, “Gas prices are going up, 25 cents over the last month, a nickel off the price about a year ago. The mortgage rates are going up, 20-year high — more than a 20-year high. And the administration and the party did such a good job of explaining several years ago about how that’s outside of the President’s control, right? We get that, but this is what people feel. Is there a vulnerability in tying the President’s re-election campaign, fusing his name with economics, when so many people feel so sourly about the economy? Is that a vulnerability for the President?”

Up 10% down 2% it’s party time.

Democrats are dumb enough to fall for it.

I have but one question for Harrison: did it hurt when he fell out of someone’s ass into the toilet?

Got a hunch Harrison has not personally bought gas or gone grocery shopping for a while. They can lie with their fake stats all they want, but real people experience the real world. And we know what’s happened to prices because we have to pay in the real world tab.

Democrat voters are so stupid that they believe Biden is doing a good job with the economy. Look at the polling. The most recent AP-NORC poll shows Biden’s economic approval at 36%. That nearly matches the percentage of voters that are registered as Democrats.

Just buy things that are not transported by planes, trains, semis or delivery trucks or vans.
So stick to goods and foods transported by skateboards and foot push scooters.

Or pizza by drone.

Not in my universe. Things are skyrocketing.

We were listening today as a man in the Costco checkout line was talking to the clerk about high gas prices. Was lamenting that a gas station in the boonies was charging over $7 a gallon, but what can you do when everything is going up in price. No drop in inflation around here, gas prices in the mid $5.50/gallon range.
