Ahead of Wednesday’s first Republican primary debate of the year, Rep Matt Gaetz revealed that Trump surrogates would in fact be allowed to observe the debate and have access to the spin room.
Newsmax host Chris Salcedo said, "Now we’re learning Fox News, the never Trump network, won’t allow Trump surrogates to attend the debate and the spin room after the debate," adding that this was "completely unprecedented."
Gaetz clarified that "the RNC gave control over the spin room to Fox News, we were allowed to go and observe the debate but there was a little bit of confusion I can tell you now that’s all been sorted out."
"We are going to have the Trump team in full force at this debate, we are going to have access to the spin room, we’re going to be there to observe the debate and I can’t wait to be giving my hot takes on Newsmax afterward and share with you my perspective on how it went."
The first RNC debate of the election cycle will take place on Wednesday evening in Milwaukee but will be missing the consistently top-polling candidate Trump.
Fox News knows they can’t get ratings without Trump in some form.
Don’tcha, Fox News?
I think I believe you!
NOVEL UPSIDE DOWN APPROACH: the Ramaswamy/Trump Ticket
Yes,
Ramaswamy for President
Trump for VP,
Then Reverse it 4 years later.
just meditate on it a bit. Trump presiding over the Senate, which would be awesome entertainment, plus he needs some time to make a complete jackass of Jack-Wagon Smith and finally dispose of him.
Meantime, Vivek handles all the nuts and bolts, while Trump does the Trump Show, driving Democrats out of their minds with a daily Radio/Tv/podcast
In 2028, Trump/Vivek, then in 2032 Vivek/Eric Trump.
Truth! Why are they even concerned with a debate that Trump thinks he’s too good to attend. ?
Bannon mention it putting it on Gettr live.
👍🏻
Exactly!
I don’t vote for candidates who are scared to debate and answer for their record.
Did you take a wrong left turn?
“Still the great conservatives on Fox always defend Trump: Judge Jeannine, Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Lawrence Jones. I have rarely seen these personalities stray from the conservative line.”
That’s what they say in public only. We saw from the under-oath testimony in the Dominion lawsuit that pretty much everyone at Fox hates Trump and thinks his supporters are pathetic saps.
I mistakenly thought the debate and interview were tonight, instead of tomorrow night. Sorry.
😂😂
Good one! 😉
So Don Jr., one of Trump’s worst “advisors,” Is going to be there? This is not going to help Trump at all.
He should have the guts to show up in person.
You live on a planet far far left from here.
Not sure I trust Vivek.
Too many deep state ties.
Willing to wait and see.
Trump the ONLY president who did not start stupid foreign wars or continued asinine foreign wars with borrowed money
Trump the only president who actually built a substantial wall on southern border in spite of resistance from deep state.
Trump gave us record low unemployment.
Trump gave us record low gas prices (inflation adjusted).
Trump gave us record low inflation.
Trump nominated 3 good persons to SCOTUS.
Trump gave us biggest tax cut in history.
Trump stopped N Korea from launching rockets with just personal relationship with Kim. DeSantis or any others have no such personality.
Putin did not invade anybody when Trump was president.
Trump built strongest US military in history.
They (FOX) probably won't interview anyone from President Trump's crew in the spin room.
That’s ridiculous. Preferential treatment? Too much CNN, MSNBC and the View. Wake up!
👍🏻
Huh? All those running are CAREER POLITICIANS except Vivek. Who is more likely to be connected to deep state? A self made multi-millionaire businessman or career politicians?
Are you sure you got your thinking cap on?
