Maui isn’t the worst in American history.

Yeah, but everything now isn’t about what caused what. Everything now is all about ‘climate change’, which is phony.

> The truth is that they are indeed caused by human beings, but due to malice (arson), incompetence (of power companies and government officials), and mismanagement (failure to manage land properly). <

Yes. But unfortunately, a sizable percentage of Americans (50%+) will hear none of that. Instead they will be told that Climate Change is to blame. And so we must pour even more money into fighting a threat that doesn’t even exist.

Such is the power of propaganda.

Good Lord. It is an island. It is surrounded by water. They should’ve already figured out a large desal plant or something

“The Maui fire is proving to be the worst wildfire in American history,...”

Hardly. Not even close. It might be the worst in the 21st century. Do these writers believe that nothing happened before they were born?

#BREAKING Herman Andaya just submitted his resignation as administrator of Maui County’s Emergency Management Agency. A press release from Mayor Bissen’s office says Andaya cited health reasons and is leaving the post effective immediately.

Health reasons, he says.
Interpretation: he just figured out a way to get a disability check for the rest of his life. ? ? ?

It appears that the town was built right on the beach. It seems to me that responsible, forward thinking townsfolk would have, at not too drastic an expense, installed a pump and pipe system for fire fighting. No need to desal that water.

There is video of a powerline going down and starting the fire. The fire dept shows up and puts out the fire then all leave. The fire reignites and I do not know where the fire dept was at that time. Maybe other fires as other power lines are going down. The winds were fierce so probably no way to put out the fire at that point.
I have seen brush fires here in California when the winds will send sparks miles away to start new fires.

Water was not released due to the sacredness of it.... until too late.
No sirens went off as those in charge thought people would run into the hills. No they would as they would have seen the fire.
Only 58 out of 70 sirens when tested months ago worked.

Only 2 ways to get out by road.
No warning at all to residents.
