Sununu: Trump Can’t Win in November, ‘He’s Going to Crush the Republican Ticket Going Down

Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) said Tuesday on “CNN Primetime” that former President Donald Trump can not win the presidential election in November 2024, and he will “crush the Republican ticket going down.”

When asked to react to the Georgia indictment, Sununu said, “I’m not a lawyer. I will say, this is incredibly similar to the federal indictment that Jack Smith is doing out of DOJ. Other than, as you brought up, now 18 people involved. That’s a much bigger swath of individuals. Something that I think republicans need to take note of, this is a grand jury in a very conservative state. That said, this guy needs to be indicted. This isn’t just the Department of Justice and the idea that it’s all politicized. This is a grand jury in Georgia of all states.”

I was going to say the exact same thing.

Except for MAGA, what are they now about? Bushism has failed horribly. The nearest thing to a Reagan today is Trump.

They’re no longer representing their rank and file, whom they hate. Why vote old-school GOPe when the real thing—democrats, exist? The RINOs are just democrat-lite.

Better for THAT to be crushed and build a better party from the ashes.

I’m out of touch apparently, so I don’t know.

The issue isn’t primary voters, the issue is the general election.
What do the milquetoast middle think?
Will the middle care more about Biden’s incompetence, or Trump’s negatives?

Have a conversation with someone who isn’t a news follower, it’s eye opening.

The way the Reps are conducting themselves, they don’t want to win anyway. They have done NOTHING to make me want to vote for them. It’s just a choice of lesser evils. Voting for me is to make my best attempt to keep my state red, DC is a waste of time.

Of course he's right.

The GOP died the day Ryan and McConnell decided not to back Trump's play. You can take the position that Trump killed the GOP by destroying SIXTEEN real Republicans in debates, or that the GOP leadership killed it, but it's irrelevant because the GOP is deader than a doornail and the corpse is stinking up the national political scene.

Time for a decent burial.

That dead elephant has been blocking the path to political realignment and a move to a new government that will right all wrongs that the nation so desperately needs.

Worshiping a party that is dead is preventing you from seeing your duty clearly: "whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness...When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security".

We need a government "most likely to effect [our] Safety and Happiness and and to provide new Guards for [our] future security". Do you believe that we have that now? Do you believe that you are going to get it by voting Republican?

This is Fulton County. It was turned over decades ago and now you have a power mad bitter and hateful black woman charging Trump with BS. This is the same county where black women put barriers up against the windows to prevent anyone from seeing the vote fraud. Also where black woman Ruby Freeman was seen producing a box of alleged phoney ballots from under a table. They are feeling extremely powerful just now. Something has to give.

Paul Ryan never held a private sector job in his life. Like the rest of the swamp, they go to college, grow their egos and intern for whatever daddy that milks them. They live there their entire lives taking whatever position they can, with the goal to never have to answer to anyone.

McCarthy has not been able to get key funding bills written in the House of Representatives.

If in doubt, leave it out.

Top-up bills can be passed if necessary and proper.
