So he made a PSA with Nancy Pelosi. So what? Making that commercial with her does not define who Newt Gingrich is, his core principles or his life’s work.
Being in lockstep is not freedom. Conservatives can disagree, even work with honest democrats on points and issues where all Americans are concerned, and where we can all be free to agree or disagree.
Actually, I agree with you, Newt Gingrich shouldn’t have lent the issue credibility from the right. That was his mistake. But, I still consider him an asset in our struggle against the current wave of woke-ism and other leftist insanity.

The American public in general and American conservatives in specific are apathetic and basically lazy. There is just too much effort reqired to resist.

To keep you calm, since the other thing they do is make YouTube soundbites for their next campaign. Oh and once in a while they request documents that never come so they can write more demand letters. Then there is the conservative bills they introduce when there is zero chance of them becoming law, all to keep us calm because we take comfort knowing that they are trying.

Yes, it does. I’d have more respect for the guy if he actually believed in that “climate change” nonsense. But that’s not the case. He made that PSA because he was being paid a fortune by “green energy” companies as a lobbyist to help Nancy Pelosi push an agenda for them that included massive tax breaks and government subsidies. This says everything about his core principles (he has none) and his life’s work (he hasn’t earned an honest living in decades).
Whenever I read an article like this about Newt Gingrich, I immediately wish I could stand in front of him and hold a mirror up to his face … because the @sshole looking back at him is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with the U.S. government.
The actress Jackie Zeman, who played his sister, Bobbie Spencer, just died recently. They haven’t decided on how to incorporate that into the storyline and have her “traveling” at present.
As for Tony Geary, he got tired of the role and moved, I believe, to Amsterdam (which they actually incorporated into the role, having both him and his now-wife, Tracy Quartermaine, move there). She came back to Port Charles, this time without him. Of course, since we didn’t see him die, they could bring him back, but perhaps unlikely. Writing in Bobbie’s death, that might bring him back from the dead, but again, doubtful.
That wasn’t her sister, it was another character entirely, Jackie Templeton. She was an investigative reporter. They brought the character back after 36 years, but this time with Kim Delaney in the role, now playing the mother of 2 of the characters on the show. But she hasn’t been seen in about 2 years since.
I had the hots for her back in the day.
It is unlikely nations will fail by their own hand, it is more likely they will be devoured by the two remaining world powers. It is a balance of power calculation.
How far in advance are the soaps taped? The writers and actors strike seems like a long term stall.
It depends, I thought I heard that Days tapes something like 6 months(!) in advance. I’m not sure about the others, probably a couple of months.
Kim Delaney has a long and difficult history with alcohol dependence.
That’s sad to hear, I know she played an alcoholic on NYPD Blue.
