Excellently stated compare and contrast. Collectivism is yucky—and more than that, it’s deadly.

How did it manage to thrive in a constitutional republic? Americans clearly left their guard down for what, maybe three or four generations?

“No one of all the above is an acceptable alternative and until you find someone with Trump’s prowess, you are stuck with Trump.”

That is looking to be the case, unfortunately.

“A lot of folks are really good with that. I am.”

I’m of the Jack Welch frame of mind. I want a talent pool that is deep.

“So far, they are all losers.”

DeSantis & Ramaswamy have shot themselves in the foot with bad policy statements [war in Mexico on drugs & worker sourcing].

Cristie is not liked as he apparently is in the primaries only to attack Trump.

Scott lacks platform depth.

Ramaswamy and Haley have natural born citizen clouds they have failed to clear away.

Niki has a lot more porblmes than that being a deep state globalist. Ramaswamy is pretty good. But that is it. Pretty good. He just doesn't have that gut instinct for what is really goiong wrong in the US that has to be fixed - like the whole place is run by a conspiracy of incompetents many of whom are corrupt power mongering traitors.

Republicans need to bring other issues to the table to strengthen our voting support.

I would like to see property tax caps and federal tax imposition limits on incomes below the top federal salary paid.

You’re seeing the difference between a challenger (2015) and a front runner (2023).

You’ll see the 2015 version of Trump when he’s a challenger again (in 2024).

There’s nothing more tiresome and pathetic than a “conservative” who calls himself an individualist … after graduating from government schools … and living on a government pension … and having Medicare cover his medical bills.

Property taxation might be banded.

In Britain, there are council tax bands A through H.

In Britain, they are based on 1990’s property values.

In the USA, these bands might be determined by property characteristics using a point system.

There might be a three-to-one tax amount variation permitted overall.

Yeah, what happened to Trump? 2023 Donald seems like a huge puss. 2015 Donald Trump would have stormed onto that debate stage and called Jeb Bush a loser. I miss 2015 Donald, the current version feels weak and fragile.

When they allowed him to speak without “fact checking” him. I wouldn’t do it either unless they had a fair moderator, and that will never happen

Trump was the frontrunner in 2015-2016 primary too. Furthermore, he only skipped one debate, right before Iowa, which arguably contributed to him losing that state to Ted Cruz.

Nobody likes cowards, and Trump saying he fears being “libeled and abused” in a GOP primary debate here in 2023, i.e., - the other candidates will say mean words about him - is laughable.

They are waiting to see what happens to Trump

They're also not interested in funding Trump's legal bills.

Only among the tiniest, most insignificant fringe of cranks.

If you are the incumbent and so far ahead in all polls, there is no reason to engage.

For that same reason, even the RNC bans people from the debate, if they can’t muster enough donors or poll numbers.

If the RNC does it and you are okay with that, what’s your problem with Trump doing it, too?

You are wildly inconsistent and illogical.

It was actually quite clear in the article, based on all the quotes, they are waiting on the challengers in the “non-Trump lane” to consolidate. Apparently the debate could play a major part in that, and Trump win’t even be there. Sounds like they already know what would happen to Trump in the general election.

They are mad that nobody can beat Trump. Will they come groveling back to him when they realize never trumping is a loser’s proposition?

Trump rant out of money with them last time. It’s a “loser’s proposition” to think he’s going to do any better without them.

To: Trump20162020; anyone

It’s getting bad. I think we are seeing some sort of purge by the democrats using our biased/corrupt justice system.

The news going around on Twitter is that they are now going to go after criminal charges on SIDNEY POWELL, simply for claiming the election was stolen. This is from twitters Democratic Underground, I guess as rotten a site as can be. However I went to a web search and Rolling Stone has a recent article on it so apparently there is some truth, some fire in that smoke somewhere.

Where will they stop?

Trump was NOT the front runner in 2015. He didn’t start leading the polls consistently until December 2015. Even Ben Carson was leading the GOP polls in late 2015.

Trump doesn’t give a crap about “libel and slander” from other candidates. He’s refusing to attend the debate because the network hosting it and the people who are supposed to be moderating the debate are players in a game that is rigged against him.

I’d wait to give until the legal bills are paid. I’d want my funds to go to campaign and not a billionaire’s legal bills. They are smart to wait. Their money will then go to trumps campaign.

Conservatives are individualists, Liberals are collectivists. Conservatives have their own lives, and families to take care of, and see government as just a necessary evil. Liberals see government as the solution for all of the world's problems and they center their lives around it. <0> That is a superbly articulated description of the differences between conservatives, and liberals. Of course it could be expounded on, but hits the core basics.

Unfortunately however, that is not the most accurate description of the two main voting blocks in this country anymore. Conservatism is unfortunately being replaced by populists and nationalists, and liberalism is being replaced by racists and criminals, with the bulk both parties wanting fascist rule by their chosen leader.

A nationalist fascist result will resemble China. A criminal fascist result will resemble Russia. And America, home of the free and the brave, will be gone.
