Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) was reportedly hospitalized after taking a fall Tuesday in San Francisco.
Her condition is not known, but she subsequently returned home by Tuesday evening, TMZ reported.
Feinstein, 90, was hospitalized earlier this year after a bout with the shingles and was absent from the Senate for about three months before returning in May. She is the oldest lawmaker in either chamber of Congress.
At times she has appeared confused during Senate procedures, drawing scrutiny from observers. Feinstein has decided not to vie for reelection in the upper chamber and her term is set to end at the start of 2025.

Hard to believe but Feinstein’s replacement will be worse than Feinstein and an identity politics affirmative action appointment to boot.
It is pathologically wrong. As an octogenerian myself, I can’t imagine getting up at 5 every morning, showering, shaving, putting on a monkey suit, grab quick breakfast, commuting thru traffic to spend the day in that filthy senate. Crazy.
Somehow from your post I’m reminded of that scene from the movie “Kiss Of Death’’ when Richard Widmark as the sadistic killer “Tommy Yudo’’ pushes the old woman in the wheelchair down the stairs.
Man, that was brutal.
She’s a potato who checks the box she’s told to check. Her vote is the party vote every single time. If somebody like Schiff takes the seat that reality will be unchanged.

How rare is Ramsay Hunt syndrome? from my.clevelandclinic.org
Jun 14, 2022 — How rare is Ramsay Hunt syndrome? ... Ramsay Hunt syndrome affects about 5 out of every 100,000 people each year in the U.S..
Man, for a 1947 film, even by today's standards that was vicious.
No one seems to care... or at least no one that can do anything about it cares?
Read yesterday she is SO incapacitated, she had to sign a power-of-attorney for her daughter to manage her affairs.
Quite correct. But Schiff will be constantly grandstanding at hearings and for TV cameras while Feinsein will be just struggling to stay awake. Big difference.
Here comes the daughter to “step in” for her mom..........it’s how Andre Carson was elected in the Indiana 7th, used to place his grand mothers hand to vote.
Julia Carson at one point made a difference then they hooked up with Andy Jacobs, now its a democratic machine seat and thats what is about to happen here.
The same way Nazi pelosi, the KKKlintons, Obeyme and Brandon did, throwing grifting and swindling.
Good point.
To be clear for the closet liberals and spies here, I do NOT advocate anyone causing harm to her or any other Democrat politician. That said, when injury befalls one of them I certainly am not going to bemoan it. AFAIC, they deserve what they get.
Heels Up is one Bidenfall away from the White House. Good luck getting her to resign and run for Senate.
I wouldn’t put it past Democrats to nominate Harris to Supreme Court if an opening occurred, and then put Newsom in as vice president.
Just about everything is serious once you’re ninety.
You were raised well !!!!!..
I love the saying in the children’s movie, “ Thumper”...
“ If you don’t have ‘sumpthin” nice to say, don’t say ‘nuthin’ at all “............
How does one fall further than San Fransisco?
