A sign of recession.
You can thank the overeducated leftist suburbanites for this madness!
Tell me anyone here on this site who doesnt pay off their balance monthly or within a month or two...
My accounts been hacked! How did they know my bill is that far behind?
Good time for a Jubilee
No problem. Just make the “rich” pay off all this debt.
Honestly, as I watch the land of the free become the land of ‘be careful what you say’, and the land of opportunity become the land of ‘redistribution and reparations’, I become less and less tolerant of anyone who votes for Democrats. As far as I’m concerned, when they vote for Democrat politicians and policies they are voting for the destruction of my life. There’s very little difference between doing this vs poisoning or shooting me. I cannot, in good conscience, have any relationship with such people.

People are raiding their 401k’s early more than ever before.
A sign that it’s their last or only resource.
Bad Signs
A new level of stupid.

The unsung benefits of Bidenomics.
We now have pResident who made a career in the Senate protecting the usurious credit card industry. Why is this surprising to anyone?
How long before some dim starts talking about the need for credit card debt forgiveness?
I use credit cards for almost everything. But I have one very simple rule...every credit card gets paid in full every month.
I will be 68 this month and still working. I shop local whenever I can and never on credit.
I use Amazon for bulk purchases like laundry and cleaning supplies, furnace filters, vitamins, my Sumatran coffee, my wifes gluten free goodies and other stuff that I can’t find local. For that I use an Amazon points card. It is set on auto-pay in full. I’m also a Amazon Prime member for the free shipping.
I travel a lot for the people I work for so I have a Delta branded American Express. It costs $250 year. I use it for bigger items instead of cash. I might as well get miles for money I was going to spend anyway. It also gets me into the Delta lounges for $35. Free food and booze and a quiet place on a long layover is priceless! It is also auto-pay in full.
My pay is split between two checking accounts with the same bank.
One is for auto pay of set bills such as car payments, insurance, cell phones, internet and my Amazon card (which is pretty steady). The cars are paid for now so I’m reducing the amount.
I’m maxed out on my 401K and put a chunk onto Telco Federal Credit Union every 2 weeks.
I waited until 66+2 months for my SS retirement just over a year ago then got my SS payments rolling in (minus vol withholding).
Since then I’ve spent $45K cash on my house. New siding (Alside Cladding is amazing), new roof & gutters, new HVAC, new front porch and back deck. The house is now ready for my retirement!
Inflation is tending to make my bills larger.
Especially as I spend mostly on Food and Fuel which our genius gov’t no longer includes in their alleged Inflation numbers.

Goodness! That’s about $3,000 for every person in the USA. There’s no way that this is going to end well.
In the days of “revolving credit” I joked that I paid my Visa bill with my MasterCard one month, then paid the MasterCard bill with Visa the next, etc.
So when is Biden going to announce that he is “forgiving” all credit card debt?
I am being facetious of course. Obviously he will announce it before the 2024 election, the only question is whether he will wait until October.
Mine gets paid off every month. Ain’t no debt there. Been paying it off for decades, just use the CC for convenience.
I believe near an all time low for savings as well.
Good times on the horizon...
