NO, it’s not.
US interests and Ukrainian interests are wildly divergent. So much so that the pursuit of one is contrary to the other.
It is simply not possible to be an American patriot and a Ukrainian partisan. It’s one or the other.

Since the US is not at war with Russia, that is an ephemeral and abstract interest, at best.
When it come to REAL interests, thing you can see, things you can count etc. our interests are WILDLY divergent.
And, it is also easy to make the case their national security interests are contrary to our as well. They want us at war with Russia. The US does not want war with Russia.
