Howdy, Kathy.
I hope you’re able to squeeze in a little sun time on the deck. I hear this is the last sunny day for y’all for a little while.
Steamy hot here today and ripped off on rain for the third day in a row. MAYBE some tonight but I’m not holding my breath.
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
Good evening, radu...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
I’m just about ready to go snag 15 minutes or so as the sun has made it to the deck and out from behind the trees. I was out for a couple hours running errands.
WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET
Exactly. Great topic. Quantum superposition made easy! That's no joke, because the mysterious weirdness is that observation affects the outcome. Then people go, "Huh?"
Exodus 3
13. And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the people of Israel, and shall say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you; and they shall say to me, What is his name, what shall I say to them:
14. And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and he said, Thus shall you say to the people of Israel, I AM has sent me to you:
15. And God said moreover to Moses, Thus shall you say to the people of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you; this is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations:
("THAT" is the relative pronoun asher: that/who/which/what)
I am who I am = WYSIWYG
Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
God never changes, and as they say,
"Some people never change."
Throw in that those who are up to no good are big into creating facades that look good on the surface, but what you see isn't what you get.
It's like needing to turn a product over to check if it's made in China.
Fun multi-level pun for the moment: "China" in Hebrew is Sin [סין], pronounced "seen".
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Hope you and Tippy had a good morning walk to greet the new day.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
We had a nice walk this morning. About two miles. I am slowly but surely building back my stamina.
Bible in a Year:
I will free you from being slaves to them.
“You are like Moses, leading us out from slavery!” Jamila exclaimed. As a bonded brick-kiln worker in Pakistan, she and her family suffered because of the exorbitant amount they owed the kiln owner. They used much of their earnings just to pay off the interest. But when they received a gift from a nonprofit agency that released them from their debt, they felt tremendous relief. In thanking the agency’s representative for their freedom, Jamila, a believer in Jesus, pointed to the example of God’s release of Moses and the Israelites from slavery.
The Israelites had been oppressed by the Egyptians for hundreds of years, laboring under harsh conditions. They cried out to God, asking for help (Exodus 2:23). But their workload increased, because the new pharaoh ordered them not only to make bricks but also to gather the straw for these bricks (5:6–8). When the Israelites continued to cry out against the oppression, God reiterated His promise to be their God (6:7). No longer would they be slaves, because He would redeem them with “an outstretched arm” (v. 6).
Under God’s direction, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt (see ch.14). Today God still delivers us through the outstretched arms of His Son, Jesus, on the cross. We're set free from a far greater enslavement to the sin that once controlled us. We’re no longer slaves, but free!
Reflect & Pray
How has God brought you freedom? How could you encourage others who are enslaved in some way?
Dear God, thank You for sending Your Son to give me freedom from my sin.

Get that natural Vitamin D while you can. Looks like i’s going to be a while before you have another chance. BIG system moving in from the west. :-(
Y’all just aren’t getting much of a summer up there this year.
Good luck with getting some rain tonight. That would only be fair!!
I’m keeping an eye on the radar and keeping all appendages crossed for luck. We have a lot of crops around here desperate for a good drink.
The downside to rain is the grass will grow fast. LOL I still hurt from all the mowing I did earlier this week.
