Thousands of people who crossed the border have come to New York looking for the city to fulfill its promise of being a “sanctuary city.” Now, they’re squatting in the streets because after Joe Biden invited them, he turned his back on them. He sneered at the over-burdened cities that can’t possibly handle the numbers of asylum seekers coming from the border.
And the consequences of virtue-signaling how compassionate you are — as long as the homeless illegal immigrants squat somewhere else, like Texas — are finally coming home to roost in New York.

This is a crisis because Joe Biden is a weak, politically inept president who can’t stand up to the open-borders lobby that has been pushing to allow as many people who can make it to the border to come in and make themselves at home. They don’t want limits on migration. And they don’t care one whit about the “migrants,” or “asylum seekers,” or whatever they want to call them. This is about opening the borders — all borders.

The first annual conference of US east coast tea ceremony instructors and practitioners since COVID is scheduled for next week, in Manhattan at the Japan Society (near the UN). I wish I could be there, to meet fellow tea people I have not seen for years, including my last sensei who is now 85 and retired, and our headmaster’s representative from Kyoto, who studied at the Zuiho-in, the only Zen temple dedicated to a Christian martyr (Otomo Sorin).
But I’m not going. The stories I have heard of how you can’t be sure you’ll have a hotel room, or how walking even a short distance from 50th to 47th St (where the Japan Society is) is not like it was ten years ago, are keeping me home. The only people I know who are going either live in the NYC area, or are staying with others and taxiing back and forth. A small, but yet another example of how the illegals are affecting everyone.
And the cartels are kicking back to someone in our country for allowing them to sell American citizenship.
My guess is Biden and some DC creeps - maybe a few of those lying CIA types... Maybe Hillary... Hillary's 'speech fees' at $10,000 a minute were thinly disguised bribes. I don't know. But I do know someone is getting pure gold wealth and the American people are getting the shaft. And I suspect the CAI knows who's on the receiving end...and they're protecting the monsters beause they all barbecue togeth4er .
With the summer in prime, how many classrooms are available with no students.
Move out the desks and put the unhoused into the empty classrooms.
Also, any public college/university can store a lot of undocumented visitors.
