Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is running ads to promote the impending one-on-one debate against rival Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom amid their ongoing coast-to-coast feud.
"Ron DeSantis is debating Gavin Newsom to highlight the choice facing American voters next year," the talking points added later.
The campaign also released ads to promote the debate and encourage voters to "choose their fighter."
"Who do you support?" the arcade game-themed advertisement reads.

It took DeSantis months to accept Gavin Newsom’s debate offer.
DeSantis only accepted because he is trying so hard to stay relevant. I’m sure by the time the debate rolls around in November DeSantis will be polling in single digits and firmly behind others in key early states.

DeSantis is a turd in the punchbowl. He is selecting a much stronger Democrat than Biden and elevating him in people’s minds as the presumptive candidate. And he is pretty much MIA in the fight against the illegal persecution of President Trump.
And all orchestrated by Fox and Hannity.
Newsome knew better than even ask Trump because he’s scared of debates. Just watch his performances against Biden, for reasons why we may never see him on an actual debate stage again.

I know we are supposed to hate DeSantis on this site .
But I think a debate with a major liberal figure versus a major conservative figure could be very enlightening for the American people.
Yes I know we are supposed to hate DeSantis. And that hating DeSantis means we want to criticize anything that he does.
And I know we are supposed to hate Fox News and Sean Hannity, and Hannity apparently is going to be a key figure in setting this whole thing up.
But even conceding who we have disdain for, I still will watch such a debate.
Wouldn’t waste my time debating Newsom unless he actually admits to running for President (which he probably is)

No he's not. He's actually said just about as much in support of Trump than any other Republican out there. And don't give me Ramaphony as your counter LOL. Trump has his former VP, his former Chief of Staff, and former Attorney General all lining up to testify against him.
The main reason a lot of other Republicans aren't supporting him is he did a lot of this, especially J6, completely on his own, and against their advice. Hey kids, don't drive drunk! Oh, you got busted? Too bad. Call for a protest with no security on the day of the electoral college, when all the votes have already been decided? Expect bad things to happen. Get a subpoena for documents, and only hand a few over? Expect a problem.
Sure, the left is chasing him down, and backing back over him, but that's the reason other people are running for President. This guy is wounded, is hardly squeaky clean, and doesn't always make the best decisions.
I'm pulling for him to win these cases, but when you've got your former VP, your former Chief of Staff, and your former AG all lining up to testify against you, you've got some problems.
