Russian authorities early on Tuesday accused Kyiv of yet another attack on Moscow and its surroundings with drones, one of which hit a building in the capital that was damaged by a drone just days ago in a similar attack early on Sunday.
..The repeated drone strikes underscore Moscow's vulnerability as Russia's war in Ukraine drags into its 18th month.
the Russian defence ministry said in the early hours of Tuesday that it shot down two Ukrainian drones outside Moscow and jammed another, sending it crashing into a skyscraper in the Moscow City business district and damaging the building's facade.
Moscow's Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the drone crashed into the same building that was damaged in a similar attack early Sunday. IQ-Quarter, located 7.2 kms (4.5 miles) from the Kremlin, houses a number of government agencies, including the headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Sobyanin said the Tuesday attack didn't result in any casualties.
..Sobyanin said the drone hit the 21str floor, one of the floors housing the Economic Development ministry.... According to the mayor, 150 sq m of the building's flass facade was damaged...

Is the bombing of a civilian apartment building in Russia a new NATO/Polish tactic?
Attacking the Economic Development ministry. Now that’s a game changer. /sarc
It’s the V-1 buzz bomb philosophy of war.
exactly. Pure desperation and provocation.
Perhaps the Russians should negotiate an agreement with the Ukrainians ending all attacks against civilian targets in cities. However I doubt that the Russians would be interested. They want to be able to attack Ukrainian cities with impunity.
You Russians bombed a lot of civilian buildings - is that your standard policy?
So, Brandon, tell us exactly how you know this to be true.
Did you get your report from the State Department or General Milley? You probably believe that Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation, January 6 was a coup, and Trump colluded with the Russians.
We get it!
The US could likely mass produce and supply the Ukes with an overwhelming number of explosive drones to send against many targets in Russian cities, etc. I suspect they are are about to do just that. It would change the dynamic of the war, with impossible to predict consequences.
Icclearly - your name is Brandon?
Ok, Brandon - the Russians bombed a lot of civilian buildings in Ukraine as
1. we can see in video and camera pictures
2. acknowledged by observers
3. spoken about by refugees who experienced it.
What do you, Brandon, have to say about you Russians invading ukraine?
The building is a monument to Russian corruption and pride
An oligarch, possibly Putin himself, owns the building and rents space to the government
Ha, ha, ha......
Unlike the V1’s, the Ukranian drones are precise and took out Russian government offices in their pride and joy monument. Not only was the precision attack successful in the destruction, but it was magnificently symbolic in destroying Russian pride
No, you don’t get it. Your whining is just silly.
I can’t grasp a reason for you to support the Russian war criminals thereby becoming guilty of aiding and abetting
“Wife beater whines his wife hit him back”
Good question.
The same things I would say if we went to war with Russia if/when they placed missiles, say, in Cuba -- or on the US - Mexican border.
You know -- like NATO did on Russia's border.
I'm pretty sure there are many things you CAN'T GRASP, Brandon -- or maybe you're Linda.
Had Ukraine managed to squirrel away a couple of nukes or obtain them on the black market, Moscow could be a smoking radioactive ruin. Their defenses are obviously ineffective.
“Is the bombing of a civilian apartment building in Russia a new NATO/Polish tactic?”
No, it’s a Russian tactic. See, sometimes the best way to communicate with someone is to speak to them in their own language.
GRU server facility and apartments of Oligarchs, as well as Bashir Assad.
I wonder how many such attacks would have taken place if
Russia didn’t have hundreds of thousands of troops on
Ukrainian soil, and hadn’t been sending missiles into
a number of Ukrainian cities.
Is it just me, or are others having a real problem holding
back these big crocodile tears. /s
