Well, that certainly takes the spotlight off the campaign donations made by FTX since now there is now no pressure on politicians to return or explain those funds. Although the majority of the donations were to democrats, several republicans, such as McCarthy received funds as well.
No one ever went to jail for giving money to DemocRATS.
