Looks like a call to violence to me. If your business uses UPS, I hope you have a plan B.

FedEx dhl and USPS won’t be able to keep up. It’s going to cause problems.

Not exactly the kind of talk that I want to hear from the people with whom I trust to deliver my packages.

UPS makes a lot of deliveries for the friends of Joe Biden in the Pharma Industry so this strike situation needs to be seen in perspective.

Conservatives and Patriots learned Pharma was our enemy during COVID and in bed with Biden’s Democrats.

The smearing of RFK Jr. alone right now should tell you what the playing field looks like.

To help Pharma Biden is likely to force an end to any strike.

I sense the Teamsters intends to bankrupt UPS. Union management will then take over ownership in a Fed.gov sponsored bailout.

Didn’t we see the same with GM in 2009?

There’s an awfully lot of impending labor actions being talked about here lately.

The Writer Guild, the Screen Actors Guild, Teamsters-UPS, and the UAW are all either currently on strike or threatening work stoppages.

All of these organizations are BIG Democrat Party allies. As such, you have to suspect the federal government will tilt the scales in their favor eventually.

We’ll see.

“UPS pilots vow to not cross strike picket lines”

That factor will impact the pace of negotiations.

Note to the rank and file: Use your heads for more than a hat rack. Decertify your union before it’s too late.

Ultimatums can easily blow up in your face.

There was a Peterbilt truck plant in Nashville for years. They built the big rig tractors. The plant was unionized. Union workers wanted more money. They went on strike. The company closed the plant. All the jobs disappeared.

I work for UPS. There will be no strike. The last two contracts went beyond the deadline and we continued to work through. We received checks for back pay till the contracted was ratified. Union members are also not as united to strike as this article makes it sound. The talk is that the part time wages issue is related to getting Amazon to unionize. No one is happy about O’Brian using our contract as ploy to get Amazon workers. I spent most of my career as a part timer (I worked and made as much or more than full timers) The only reason I went full time was that the Hoffa gang sold us out last time by creating a cheaper driver position. Part timers are doing fine. I say that from experience.

“How did we get here?

We got here like we get here every five years, the typical duration of a UPS-Teamsters contract. But this has been a different cycle. For the first time in 25 years, there is new blood at the top of the Teamsters food chain — a combative, aggressive, longtime Teamster named Sean O’Brien. O’Brien succeeded James P. Hoffa, a leadership fixture who many in the UPS rank and file thought had grown too cozy with the company and less with its workers. O’Brien isn’t that type, as he has made clear leading up to and throughout the negotiations. “
