IMHO, a Mob has more integrity and couth than any union, especially the lowlife Teamsters, a union I was forced twice to join and got screwed by them each time.

If unions could not use violence and sabotage, then a strike would just be a mass resignation. See Pres Reagan and the air traffic control strike.

Mob activity isn't protected by the 1935 National Labor Relations Act. However, the NLRA does protect labor unions engaging in extortion, price fixing, and conspiracy to damage a private business through criminal activity.
