Former President Donald Trump on Friday received some bad news from the firm of his own pollster about the 2024 presidential race.
A Fabrizio Ward and Impact Research poll surveying voters in 40 competitive House districts across the nation found that while President Joe Biden has an edge over Trump in those crucial swing districts, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was a bigger threat to the incumbent.
While Biden led Trump 47 percent to 43 percent in a hypothetical matchup, Biden and DeSantis were to be tied at 45 percent.

Participants were surveyed by Fabrizio Ward ... who is credited with writing an influential internal memo that helped Trump switch his 2016 campaign strategy two weeks before Election Day, was Trump's chief pollster in 2016 and 2020. He is currently a pollster with MAGA Inc., a Trump-aligned super political action committee.
Women over 50 in those competitive districts also seemed to favor Biden over Trump and DeSantis over Trump. When Trump and Biden go head to head, 48 percent back the Democrat, compared to the 44 percent who support Trump. But in a Biden-DeSantis matchup, the two tie at 46 percent among women over 50.

The discrepancy between voters 50 to 64 and those 65 and up seemed to remain in a hypothetical matchup between Biden and DeSantis, with the earlier group favoring the Republican and the latter group favoring the Democrat. DeSantis had a 15-point lead over Biden among the 50-64 age group, while Biden say a 4-point lead over DeSantis among those 65 and above.

Key observation, while Trump clearly leads DeSantis within the Republican party, both are strong contenders against Biden, DeSantis will beat him.
Next twist will be if Biden drops out of reelection or is not around for reelection.

So far it appears DeSanctus won’t *remotely* come close to earning enough delegates to win the nomination.
So this poll is an interesting point in time, but theoretical.
The American Voter is frankly dumb as a bag of hammers. The thing is Americans have not really suffered in decades...had to decide who eats tonight and who doesn’t or faced starvation.
It is a Trump poll reported by Newsweek. Ah, but dump on the messenger if it makes you feel better.
Florida, where DeSantis still has most voters favoring him.
What about the rest of the country?
And who believes a poll that could change by next week?
Polls are bogus and exist to manipulate voters to accept fraudulent election results.
You sure about that? It is nearly 178 days until the first caucuses and primaries. That’s a lifetime and who knows how many more indictments, lawsuits, court cases, and all for Trump.
Was just going to comment yesterday how remarkable it was the DeSantis supporters here have been stunned to silence. They are new. Or they’re democrats They don’t have the realization as to how tgese outlets lie

National Review tried calling Fabrizio Ward “Trump’s pollster” back in April. They’re attempting to rewrite history.
Trump supporters say that when the poll doesn’t help, but cheer when it does. Well, guess what, DeSantis supporters do as well. The polls now, 178 days before the first caucuses and primaries are purely for entertainment and, yes, to manipulate voters.
DeSantis is so YESTERDAY and no longer a factor. I’m much more interested to see if Vivek can catch up to Trump.
If desantis advances our country is more doomed. The guy isnt even dealing with root issues inFL yet wants to be president? Some of his big backers hate the US constitution, have trampled it just as desantis trampled his supporters who got him relected then he soon started the shadow campaign but played dumb when it was obvious to all he was running for president. Dishonest, slimey liar selfish and self serving above all else. I have yet to see where desantis helped anyone without it being his job to do so bot counting family and friends. Plenty of examples of Trump helping all kinds of people out of his own pocket and means.
I never supported any pro or anti trump poll. I think they are all 100% bogus.

Ron went fr 7/2 third choice to 10/1 fifth choice.
10/1 5th choice has a better chance than 2/1 second choice.
Have to believe the folks here are incredibly uninformed to continue with the unending fake news campaign.
