Republican presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis rattled off a list of what he deemed to be broken 2016 campaign promises by former President Donald Trump, saying he’d rather attack the GOP front-runner on the issues than personality.
"Substantively, we've been very frank about our differences with respect to the former president," the Florida governor said. "I mean, for example, he promised to drain the swamp – it got worse. He did not drain the swamp.
"He promised to have Mexico pay for a border wall. They did like 50 miles of wall. There's massive expanses still there," he continued. "He said he was going to eliminate the national debt. They added almost $8 trillion to the debt in four years.
"And of course, in 2020, he turned the country over to Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, and those lockdowns and the borrowing and printing really set us on a bad course," he added. "I've been very, very frank at that."

He is going negative because he has nothing left. After this I am curious to see if he has a career left. He threw away so much for what? For what? Uni Party money? Trump did his best to keep his promises but ours is not a dictatorship. Mitch has his own agenda and obstructed Trump at every turn. Trump had no choice but to work with Congress because of our system of 3 part government. I think Trump never imagined how corrupt the GOP leadership had become and thought that they wanted to repeal OCare and would work with him. They probably lied in conversations with him during the campaign indicating the above.

I think you are right. Suspicious is good. I’m a radiologist AIDS really wasn’t anything I followed. In the 80”s I was finishing residency and working at a trauma center in Camden. I can’t remember an AIDS case, except once I needed to wear gloves to do a CT injection.

Trump’s own quotes absolve Fauci of responsibility, since Trump claims he constantly overruled him. That’s not the only interview where Trump admits this either.

Trump didn’t send cops with masks to my store that shut me down, they were following DeSantis’ executive orders and declared my business “non-essential”.
