Biden forgives $39 BILLION in student debt for 804,000 Americans: White House goes around Supreme Court ruling to give handout to borrowers who have been paying for 20 years

President Joe Biden will forgive $39 billion in student debt for 804,000 Americans - two weeks after the Supreme Court struck down his $430 billion relief plan because it was unconstitutional.

The president has continued his push to wipe billions in student debt, despite anger from taxpayers and Americans who have never been to college.

The landmark Supreme Court decision dealt his plan a huge blow, but the White House has vowed to plow ahead to get widespread relief.

Critics slammed the 'absurd' announcement and called it a 'slap in the face to taxpayers'.

David Williams, President of the Taxpayers Protection Alliance, told DailyMail.com: 'This new announcement is absurd and is a slap in the face to taxpayers.

'The Biden administration is hell bent on recklessly spending hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars bailing out wealthy student loan borrowers, even after being rebuked by the country’s highest court.

'More than 80 percent of the country that doesn’t have student loans will be forced to subsidize the small percentage of Americans that do have loans. And, once again, the Biden administration is circumventing Congress.

How stupid we were for paying our and our kids’ tuition at the beginning of each semester. How stupid for sending the kids to college.

Yeah, might be another stupid move to pay off the mortgage. Should have let everyone else pay our bills.

Can the Supreme Court bring charges on people. Or Congress or senate. It’s illegal.

—$875 billion more than the shortfall recorded during the same period last year.

Revenues were 11 percent lower and outlays were 10 percent higher from October through June than they were during the same period in fiscal year 2022.

The House of Representatives can vote by majority to impeach for contempt of court. The Senate can convict and remove by a two-thirds vote.

But that's about all that can be done.

I still say the cheapest way to do college is to have your kids learn spanish in grade school, spend post graduation summer in mexico, toss the id, and walk back across the border - free bennies for life!

Now they’ll even get a free plane ride home. An even better deal than before.

If President Piece of Sh!t was seriously concerned about Americans, he would forgive medical debt.

...despite anger from taxpayers and Americans who have never been to college

And ~40% of them will still vote for the demented guy and party responsible for their anger.

“If truth be told most Republicans are probably fine with it”

You are correct. Looking at the history over the past 50 years, Republicans enabled, or acquiesced to, most of the legislation, regulations, and social changes that have destroyed the republic. Today most GOP Senators are silent at outrageous actions by the Democrat majority and the current POTUS.

Kevin McCarthy is worthless. Maybe Matt Gaetz will make some noise.

Had I known that my college debt would be forgiven, I would have gotten a double doctorate in “Transgender underwater basket weaving stydies”.

Does anyone really believe that fiscal sanity will be restored, and debt-fueled political social-engineering will be ended, through mere “voting?”

More incentives for deadbeats - - more mocking of responsible Americans.

Democrats did the same with 'the homeless' and grew a few hundred thousand more 'homeless'....

(Anyone wonder how this latest BS will play out. /s)

SCOTUS may as well save us some money and just go home and never come to work anymore. Their third branch powers have been stripped by the New World Communist Regime.

It’s an old Democrat tradition. The first Democrat President, Andrew Jackson, disliked a ruling by the Supreme Court and said, “John Marshall has made his decision. Now let him enforce it.”
