The Beacon/Targoz poll released Thursday shows Trump running away from the rest of the field at 61 percent of support among likely primary voters. DeSantis, his closest competitor, has just 12 percent support, while former Vice President Mike Pence sits within striking distance of DeSantis with eight percent.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) and Vivek Ramaswamy tie for fourth place with one percent each. Former Govs. Nikki Haley (R-SC), Chris Christie (R-NJ), and Asa Hutchinson (R-AR), as well as Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND) and conservative radio host Larry Elder, did not secure a full percentage point of support.
On the Democrat side, President Joe Biden sits in first place with 63 percent, while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. takes second place with seven percent of the response. Self-help author Marianne Williamson receives two percent to round out the field.
“These primary results reflect what we’ve seen in national polls for months, that a rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is the most likely scenario in 2024,” Beacon spokesman Mark Cunningham said in an emailed release.

“It is interesting that Trump fares substantially better against Biden than Ron DeSantis does, and the change came almost exclusively from Republican voters who say they would vote for Trump as their nominee but would not vote at all if DeSantis were the nominee,” Cunningham said.
Moreover, the poll found that 44 percent of Tennessee disapproves of the federal indictment of Trump in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation of classified documents that Trump allegedly took

In a hypothetical general election race between Trump and Biden, the 45th president leads by 20 points with 54 percent to Biden’s 34 percent among the unweighted sample size of 1,046 respondents. However, Biden’s disadvantage slightly shrinks when he faces DeSantis instead of Trump. In that scenario, Biden climbs to 36 percent, while DeSantis drops to 52 percent, though the Republican still maintains a double-digit lead.
I live in East Tennessee.
We don’t want a Damn DeGlobalist for President.
1) The media would like people to believe that Trump faces serious challenges from DeSantis and others. It’s not true.
2) The media would like people to believe that RFK jr is no threat at all to Biden in the primaries. In fact, he is a serious threat.
It’s almost like the media is trying to interfere in the election.
At this point Meatball is only damaging himself for 2028
President Trump leads Joe 81millionvotes Biden by 54
5 to 34%.
Sorry folks, that ain’t even close to the Margin of Cheat. with only a 20 point lead, Biden will win Tennessee by at least 5 points.
BTTT
So do I and you are 100% correct.
Trump may dominate the field but he is piloting the Titanic and the DOJ is the iceberg.
The lying main stream media brainwashers are public enemy number one.
I live in Tennessee and nobody sought my opinion, but I am a Republican here and would consider voting for DeSantis. As the time approaches, I would consider both Trump and DeSantis, but these things bother me about Trump:
1) His mouth is a loose cannon. He is rude and women voters tend to be repulsed by him.
2) When push came to shove in the Summer of 2020 as Antifa and BLM rioted and burned the cities, Trump was cowed and did essentially nothing. He should have declared a state of emergency, sent in troops if needed, suspended habeous corpus and rounded up Democrat politicians who were encouraging the lawlessness, tried them in military tribunals, etc. President Lincoln did this in Mary in 1861 and it worked there, Trump just lacked the never to do what needed to be done.
3) Trump had 4 years and he didn’t finish the border wall.
4) Trump gave us the vax and allowed Fauchi free reign to do as he pleased.
5) Trump did a good job in other areas like helping the economy and picking conservative Supreme Court justices.
DeSantis is less of a known quality, but I like how he is refusing to bend the knee to the LBQT lobby despite how the media is crucifying him. I like how he stands tall on this issue. Hopefully he would stand tall on protecting all of America from the LBQT/Antifi/BLM types.
If we are going to survive as a nation, someone has to have the stones to do what needs to be done. 2024 might be the last chance.
I think #1 & #2 of your post are spot on
I would add that Trump did not do a good job over all of picking his advisers
So do I and both of you are 100% correct.
“He is rude and women voters tend to be repulsed by him.”
Sometimes I hate women and their feeeelings. SMSRT women who care about the future of the county and their kids will overlook “rude”. F**k the rest of them, as they wouldn’t vote for Trump, anyhow, rude or not.
This is news?!?!? Tennessee will go Red. What we need is AZ, MN, PA, ,NH, WI. Desantis leads Trump by 16% in Wisconsin.
GO TRUMP GO
DeSanchez thinks he’s winning. He’s just sure of it
